My daughter has been here for more than half a year - the message we got was always "she is doing good" or "she is making good progress", while reality is that she has been stuck to much simpler level of math for a long time so that her regular class has surpassed most time than what she learned here! We realized it too late! The summer camp now is ongoing - my child said each day the class always started simple but getting hard and hard. She likes it but multiple times she was asked to continue despite she told teacher the starting half is too simple. The teacher also gave wrong (and hence misleading) check of her answers in the notes - a reflection of not-so-customized lesson, as advertised. Better Me is a great place for learning! I was looking for a good tutoring center to take my daughter to and the staff here were very helpful. She took an evaluation for free and they gave her a lesson plan tailored to her learning styles. I saw improvements in her critical thinking skills and she’s now learning much quicker than before in school and understanding concepts better.
