My phone quit working after I went here! I dropped my phone a couple of years ago and the damage caught up with my phone and I needed the screen replaced, I chose to come here since it had a “perfect” 5 star rating which I’ll get back to. Got my screen replaced for $150 which is an insane price but I was desperate. When I got home I realized a bright light through my screen and took it back. He proceeded to look for damages and tried to bargain with me to pay MORE than the original $150. He then told me he’d fix it for free. When I came to get my phone, he said he couldn’t fix it cuz the “battery” was broken (which looking back was completely false) so I paid $80 to have the screen AND the battery replaced on top of the initial $150. After he did the SECOND repair, I showed him the light was still there and he told me he didn’t know what to do and told me I still needed to pay-at this point I still thought he was an honest man. Less than a week later, my phone screen went completely black and wouldn’t turn on. I took it to a different repair store and they told me the battery he used was cheap, used, and not an Apple battery which BURNED the back of my phone screen causing it to qu it working. They repaired the front, back and battery for the same price and it works fine now. They also told me I won’t be able to go to an Apple Store ever again cuz he put a non authentic battery in my phone. When I went back he told me “obviously” it wasn’t gonna b at Apple battery cuz it was a cheap price and those are expensive and he also told me he has THOUSANDS of customers and never once has anyone had an issue. I find it hard to believe my phone was so difficult for him to fix and so easy for another place. Also my dad left a 1 star review less than 2 days ago and it’s now deleted already so don’t believe all the 5 star reviews. Below are pictures the battery he put in my phone, the notification about my battery on my phone, and a heat warning my phone got after his battery. Glad he likes scamming young...
Read moreI came in about a week ago to have my screen replaced. Everything seemed fine at first, but then the phone suddenly stopped working out of nowhere. I wasn’t too worried initially since it was still under warranty. However, when I returned, the technician claimed it was a battery issue—even though the phone was fully charged before it stopped working.
I wasn’t closely watching while he opened the phone, but then he said it was due to water damage. The only “evidence” of that was a few drops that honestly looked like someone could’ve have sprinkled them on themselves “NOT CELLAIRIS ,THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS “PERFECT” “ LOL !!!
I use this phone strictly for my desk job, where it stays right next to my computer all day. I’m absolutely certain it never came into contact with water.
Despite this, he voided the warranty and tried to charge me extra for repairs. The whole situation felt like a ripoff. On top of that, the way he spoke to me was incredibly condescending—like I didn’t know what I was talking about. I’ve decided to take my phone elsewhere for repairs
I took my phone somewhere else to get it repaired properly, and the other company pointed out that certain things didn’t look right and some parts were missing. I’m not blaming Cellairis — I’m not trying to get threatened with legal action again— but long story short, I ended up just buying a new phone instead (:
Honestly, threatening someone with “legal” action just because they had concerns is ridiculous. I get that you deal with people trying to get things for free sometimes, but that wasn’t the case here — money wasn’t the issue. Maybe focus on improving your customer service skills and handling situations more professionally, instead of immediately going into...
Read moreLet me preface: my phone got fixed, but there were a lot of hiccups along the way.
I took my Samsung S23 Ultra in to be repaired (shattered screen) and requested Midnight Green because that's what color my phone WAS. He said he could order the part, but because it was Sunday, the part wouldn't be in until Tuesday. I left my phone with him.
Fast forward to Tuesday, I arrive to check on my phone, and I learn that the part he ordered is out of stock in that color AND in the default black. So he ordered Cream, but it wouldn't be in until Wednesday.
I'm a little upset by the color difference, but with my case on it, the only color that showed was the back, so I'd still see the green.
He called me on Wednesday on a loaner phone he did provide and informed me my phone was ready. When I arrived to pick it up, I learned that he broke the back of the phone getting the front replaced, so he went ahead and put a black replacement back on the phone.
If he'd informed me of this, I would have been just as upset but requested to order the cream back so it matched the front.
So yes, my phone got fixed but not the color I ordered, and he broke it while fixing it and replaced it with a different color than it began with.
And still charged me full...
