I am shocked and beyond disappointed in this school and it's the director. Not to mention the last teacher we had the unfortunate experience with in the end Ms. Melissa. This review is based on our last-minute termination from Ms. Victoria. Three days before my sons following lessons, we were emailed with very little explanation that they were being let go as students. No phone call, no warning or hints during studies that they weren't a “good fit.” I find this hard to comprehend how two kids can't be a good fit for a teacher with years of experience and not being able to adapt to the STUDENTS way of learning. Not the other way around! What kind of school that is meant to teach music lessons is not able to teach music to two willing, obedient, respectful young boys? After being her for a couple years, the boys were progressing, attending recitals, and competing with Mrs. Farida. The boys took the summer off from lessons and resumed right before school started. Mrs. Farida was no longer there when the boys continued. We had to switch to lessons with Ms. Melissa based on availability with our schedule. The boys had not been taking lessons for a while at this point and Ms. Melissa and this school have determined based on only a few weeks of lessons that the boys should go elsewehere with no time to even find another school or teacher. This place is showing evidence that it is in no shape to continue running. We were not even given the full truth of what is going on. I would not be surprised if this place is shut down shortly! I can't say I would be upset by that! Please do yourself a favor and do not go here!!! This is a horrible position to be put in and to have to explain to your children why they had to be let go and stop lessons....
Read moreSan Ramon Music and Fine Art School has been an incredible experience for our family over the past eight years. Both of our kids have been taking piano lessons with Miss Farida, and we couldn't be happier with the progress they've made under her guidance. Miss Farida is not only a talented instructor but also incredibly patient and encouraging. She has a unique ability to connect with her students, fostering a love for music that keeps our children excited about their lessons. The curriculum is well-structured, and her teaching methods are tailored to each child's individual learning style. One of the highlights of our time at San Ramon Music is participating in the performances at the Livermore location. These events provide a wonderful opportunity for the kids to showcase their hard work and build confidence in their musical abilities. The supportive environment created by the staff and fellow students makes these performances enjoyable and memorable. Overall, we highly recommend San Ramon Music and Fine Art School for anyone looking for quality music education in a nurturing atmosphere. Thank you, Miss Farida, and the entire team for your dedication to fostering a love of music in...
Read moreMy child has been with Ms. Victoria for the past five years. Reflecting back to when COVID was settling down, kids had a lot of free time, so I reached out to her about online classes. She explained the importance of in-person classes, especially for beginners, and advised waiting until they were available. While other studios and classes were quick to start online, I was impressed by her dedication and teaching methods. I decided to wait, and eventually began in-person classes. The journey since then has been incredible and enriching. Ms. Victoria understands her students, encourages them, and tailors lessons to bring out the best in their abilities. From the standing position, to holding the bow, elbow, and shoulders – I've heard her repeat these instructions countless times. She teaches and emphasizes techniques and rules thoroughly. Ms. Victoria is a great teacher, and the other instructors at the school are excellent as well. I've had the pleasure of listening to students from other teachers, and it has...
