Store manager doesn’t have any notion of how he should treat customers.

We saw an online deal that showed a product as in stock. We went to the location and saw that the in store price had a 130 dollar knock-up. We requested a price match (seeing as the price is the one their own store gives…) the manager gave attitude tapping our phone saying look here and pointing to “only online” but the policy was ridiculous. We just ordered online and the same packet was “picked up”, i.e., we got the box and put it into our car.

Upon getting the “pick-up” order, he came over giving a stoic face only saying sign here. Then asking if I paid for the 2 dollar candy I had with the other product. As if I was stealing candy. The guy makes you feel unwelcome and has zero notion of initiative.

While his employees are perfectly great, even saying that they would match while finding the product for us, the manager needs some training.

I am fine accepting that ACE can’t match a price or something but the guy needs to learn that saying something is just as important as how you say say it. That being said it would still be insane if ACE doesn’t allow in store price matching to their...

This visit I was wanting to check some suet in a box if it was the same as what's on shelf. He asked his manager about the box. She opened it and we could compare them. After we were finished he spoke to his manager and asked if he could do that (open a box to check product) she gave him clear instructions for future needs. The young man at the cash register was friendly, patient and informing me about the coupons and how they work ($5 off or % with $20. Spent and better % when use them more) The store is stocked with so many wonderful choices. Great for impulse shopping that I do. "oh wasn't looking for that but found it" got it. Prices are high on many items. But...

Horrible experience. Went in so excited to see our new community Ace Hardware. Customer walking around without mask on. I told the employee and they saw him and continued to allow him to stand in line and check out behind me unmasked. When I asked him to put his mask on he said he didn’t have to. At least six employees standing there as he said masks did no good and he didn’t have to wear one. The employees allowed this. My family, 30 years in San Ramon will never step foot in...
