Pizza My Heart — Restaurant in San Ramon

I came in after 5 and ordered a custom pizza. Due to dietary restrictions, it’s challenging to find options when eating out & it can be stressful or embarrassing (IBS dietary restrictions). I asked if certain substitutions could be made and if the staff could use a different pizza cutter for mine because cross contamination has been an issue at other businesses. The young gentleman helping me was patient, respectful, and kind. I was able to tailor my pizza to accommodate my needs and he asked the chefs/staff to make the adjustments.

Service was fast and the pizza is delicious! I really appreciate the staff being able & willing to accommodate me all while being kind. Other food businesses haven’t been as accommodating or respectful so I made sure to show my appreciation with a good tip in the tip box.

I wish we had a location in Sonoma County!

For fellow IBS people who may be curious, here’s what I ordered: Olive oil (sauce sub), Miyokos vegan mozzarella cheese, spinach, olives, chicken, & bacon. My sensitivities are dairy, onion, & garlic. This pizza gave me no symptoms/...

I'm from the northeast where it's easy to find giant, gooey, CHEAP slices of deliciousness - so I don't rate about the pizza on the west coast ever. BUT

Pizza my heart offers good pizza (very good by comparison to what else is around the area), but the quality of the restaurant and the staff is 10 star, top notch, awesome. I've eaten here several times and everyone is friendly, service is good, and you can grab a slice or a beer to enjoy with your pizza.

Today, though, these guys went above and beyond - a quick, last minute order because another restaurant nearby dropped the ball on our office lunch (Ikes....don't ever eat there....all the good things I said about the service at Pizza my Heart, I'd say the opposite for about Ikes sandiwches) --- I had an office full of hungry people and the guys at Pizza my Heart stepped up, went above and beyond, and salvaged a trainwreck caused by another establishment.

5 start service, Pizza My Heart earned a customer for life...or as long as I live/work close enough to...

Mixed feelings with this location, pizza is just as good as the Dublin and Walnut Creek location. However the costumer service at this one leaves a lot to be desired, I have been here to dine in twice and order take out that I picked up myself twice. All of these times the same cashier was behind the register, her demeanor is so sour and rude, after the second or third time I’m left to wonder if it’s a coincidence that she was just rude to me and my family because I noticed her demeanor and attitude changed with other folk. Now, the kitchen staff seem nice and friendly enough but this cashier is so so rude I just cannot fathom how she still works there. I will continue to drive to the Dublin location for my pizza instead even though this one is just 7 mins from my home because her attitude ruined my dinning...
