Meh. There was a very obvious lack of communication between Sandpoint Flooring/Carpet One and the installers. After choosing the flooring (I had purchased the same type a few months back) , the wrong color was delivered. To their credit, Carpet One remedied that immediately. But when installation finally happened, the installers did not seem to be aware that I wanted it installed on the diagonal. I had informed Carli at Carpet One of that fact, and ordered extra material. But the installers whined about it, and argued, and I had to reiterate that is what I had decided. Then the trimwork; the installers insisted that my existing trim work "looked terrible" and I needed to go buy some new trim work. So, I did, they said it wasn't so expensive, but in reality it was about another $300. And while they installed, they set my houseplants on the back deck. Usually no problem, except it was about 100 degrees that day. Seriously? Just ask me where I want to set them. Too late, the fern is dead and some are recuperating. Its just a little thing, I know. But I won't use Carpet One or their installers again. I know its a very busy time of year, and there's lots of work to do, but professionalism and communication...
