Update6/24: NEW OWNER:subs still great!Eating it in parkinglot,until a SUBSLINGER took a babywipe swished it under armpits (both sides)& tossed the soiled wipe into his car. Then he headed back inside behind counter to make more subs! Hope he wore gloves while making next guy’s sandwich🧤🤮??

(Previous owner review)Always fast, friendly & fresh! We love supporting this local shop, as they are consistently excellent with more than fair prices. As a couple we usually buy a 12 inch sub and split it in two. We pair it with a bag of chips or better yet a cup of their awesome clam chowder. It is a tiny place with a few booths, clean restrooms, and very friendly staff. For over 30 years we have always gotten a great sandwich there; bread, meats, and cheeses are always fresh. Their extra long sandwiches are perfect for large staff meetings or family picnics at the park. They frequently are involved with charity drives, raising money for fire victims, donating gift certificates to accident or cancer patients, etc. Their involvement in local community is another great reason to support...

I have been going to Mr. Sub for over 25 years, and while I haven't lived in Sandpoint for 9 years now, I would still drive the 8.5 hours for one of their sandwiches, as well as to support the family behind it. I stopped there on my drive through today and got the same sub I've gotten for years, and it is exactly as delicious as I dream about when I can't get one. While the owners undoubtedly would not remember me now, I was so happy to see Mike was at the till, just as last time and probably the time before. It wouldn't be the same experience without being able to see him or his wife's face there. Kind, professional staff who really know their way around a great sub sandwich. The hot meatball is my fav. Bursting with meatballs that taste homemade (for real). Succulent with a tasty tomato sauce, and cheese. Add mushrooms, I so. They also offer delivery up to 2:30pm. (Cash or check).
