Cedar Point — Local services in Sandusky

As MD Meets Techie, we document experiences for other couples to try on our Instagram at @mdmeetstechie, we visited Cedar Point Theme Park as part of a road trip from Pittsburgh in May 2021. This place was easy to get to with plenty of parking available, and we had an absolute blast!

One thing to keep in mind is that some of the best rides have long wait times, which can be between 30-90 minutes. To reduce the wait times, we suggest timing each ride tactically. Wait times are typically lower early in the morning and late in the evening.

The rides were amazing, and we especially enjoyed Top Thrill Dragster, which was our favorite coaster. Unfortunately, it has closed since our visit. The theme park is located beside a lake, which was calming and soothing.

This park has great rides with amazing thrills but definitely has its share of issues. My main issue came when I lost my keys with a tile attached at the end of rainout day and every person I talked to told me if they fond my keys to my car I'd have to wait until the next day for someone to check the lost and found lock boxes. After looking in the rain for an hour after close for my keys were tracked to I finally found them in the trash. Cedar points lost and found system is awful and doesn't take any accountability for anything you loose so employees have no incentive to actually help you. I've lost a phone in years past that even when I submitted a report and waited never got found and that wouldn't upset me if the steel vengeance has a box of broken phones in the display bin. Man has it been way too long!!! I love this place, can’t wait to go back with my season pass next year!!! Halloweekends was AWESOME!!! What a good time, they had it set up awesome. Live bands, live acts, haunted houses, people dressed up walking around, craziness everywhere!!!! I loved it!...
