I recently graduated(August)with my Associates in Radiation Therapy from here! The school is beyond amazing and really helped me to grow my passion within the radiation therapy field. The professors truly care for you to succeed and will support you throughout. All of the classes were challenging and exciting and prepared me for not only my clinical experience but also passing my boards. I graduated, passed my boards first try and received a job with the clinic i rotated at and could not be happier! So excited for the next groups of talented therapists to come from Cambridge! Thanks to all of my teachers especially my clinical coordinator Jessica Kurkjin, and Dean Nicki Patel for pushing us to be the beat therapist we can and to show up for our patients!

The factual claims of the HIT program were misleading once I began my core classes for the program. The changing of the program throughout its entirety became utterly frustrating without prior notice causing confusion and upsetting behavior felt by my fellow classmates and myself. Prior to the program as most students must take prerequisites and those requirements must be completed. I learned and enjoyed the learning experience each professor taught their students with enthusiasm and passion for that subject. I will always be grateful to them and the awesome experience they provided when I began in January 2023. Starting my core classes for the HIT program began in September 2023 was and still is a nightmare I wish I could wake up from. Disorganized professors, non-teaching, late responding to students with irrelevant information and who by which I found out later that professors do not write their own lesson plans weekly assignments or testing. When you ask them about an assignment they quickly tell you to reread the instructions or go watch the useless video class collaboration for their only one hour per week requirement but students are not required to attend. One hour per week, students like myself need guidance and lectures to learn compared to on-campus classes online classes don’t get the support they need. Professors rely on the fact they can make a recording but not teach only give some insight to the weekly discussions which are not useful or relevant and the best part, professors in the program barely utilize the discussions to make the weekly conversation or participation required by students. What is worse, if the professors don’t like what you wrote they do not reply to you nor acknowledge your post until the last few hours of the due date, if they do reply. That is a disappoint by itself and can make a student feel small and unheard. I along with fellow classmates reached out to one another when we were finally allowed to communicate with one another two semesters into the program. I am grateful to have met two incredible women who I love for their support and their friendships. You won’t find that at Cambridge, but they will assure you they are CAHIIM accredited. Although this is true, I believe CAHIIM is unaware on how the program was implemented and how the professors do not lecture or teach the students. The program director ignored my complaints and told me to complete the grievance process, and that was a huge let down for me. A few months before I graduate the staff has changed without notice, we are required to start our so called “vacation” during school operations, which leaves students to catch up due unclear announcements. Professors use old announcement with the years 2014, 2018, and don’t usually clear them or make them appear like just wrote them. Professors do not know the assignments they give and that is a very disturbing as is this entire review. This school is expensive to say the least, and not worth the time or effort myself and my classmates have endured during the start of the program. I tell you and anyone who are thinking of applying to go to school here, STOP IT AND RESEARCH AND THEN RESEARCH MORE ABOUT ACCREDITATION AND WHO ARE THE INDEPENDENT CREDITORS IN THE FIELD YOU WANT TO PURSUE. I do not care who reads this post and all I say is the truth. I have to pay student dues to an organization that I had no idea would incase information on their sites by membership only. Unfortunately, I will have to pay another year of membership just to complete my assignments for the remainder of my last semester. It’s disgusting how deceitful to find out this would cost out of my own pocket just to make a grade. CAHIIM should investigate Cambridge and speak to the students of the HIT program set to graduate in less than a month. I would tell them their curriculum is and had never taught me a thing only by what I read and assignments that have no value or interest from professors who should be teaching something about it but aren’t required to teach, another slap in the face...

Previous ultrasound student Although it pains me to write this review, i believe i could share some insight to prospective students who may one day enroll. PROS: The program is accredited The program offers several modalities The program NOW offers an associates degree CONS: The program lacks consistency The program changes the handbook rules VERY OFTEN(2x year) The program lacks clinical sites to support student demand The program barely offers enough lab time (for scan practice) The program staff of a revolving door (new teacher every semester The program doesn’t dedicate enough time to each modality (it feels rushed and crunched together, very advanced)

As a student who has tried to complete this program several times I would recommend doing research to ensure this is the right campus for you. The Atlanta campus has been nothing short of disastrous. So unorganized and definitely not in favor of its students. I have faced inappropriate comments from professors as well as received incorrect grading on my final, when brought to my instructors attention i was laughed at. Please do not confuse me for an upset vengeful student, i am not that. I am genuinely concerned about the moral compass of the school and the staff they hire. Please believe the reviews when they say this school will get rid of you! They will discard you like another number regardless of how much effort and money you have put in. I really am concerned for current and future students due to the situations not disclosed. I have watched many suffer at the hands of this institute. Please if you do decide to attend, protect yourself. Read the handbook, document times and dates of ANY AND ALL instances. PLEASE WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN!! Do not take anyone’s word on anything if it isn’t written and signed

I am currently taking action with the institute for reasons i can not disclose. I am disheartened by the treatment and responses that i have received about these matters. WATCH OUT FOR VICTORIA SAUNDERS. She will stalk students in attempt to “weed out the students who dont deserve to be in the program” she takes retaliatory measures and will write you up for AND AND EVERY thing. PLEASE PROTECT YOURSEL!!!

I BELIEVE WITH SOME MORAL ADJUSTMENTS, DISCRIMANTION POLICY UPDATES, EMPLOYEE TRAINING, THIS program could be one of the best. Until the spoiled apples are out this program...

I took the MLT program here,

This is a hard school. I’m just being honest. Don’t think you’re gonna come into school and slack off. Please, I repeat please show up on time, If you really want something you’ll fight for it,

The syllabus may change, Only because their accommodating for the material that needs to match the other area, Just make sure financial aid knows about this.

The program leader, Miss Gloria is very strict and stern, But that’s because she’s passionate wants you to understand this is a serious Job, she will literally work with you if you don’t understand, and really wants you to understand it, Read your material that’s the biggest thing take notes that’s the biggest thing again. Do not think you’re gonna go into a program and not be serious if you want it you’ll fight for it. At the end, it will all pay off I’m telling you,

Miss Catherine is another teacher in the MLT program, She’s really great at blood bank etc, She is going to push you to be your better self if you’re not ready for that, Then don’t come, But if you’re ready to learn to gain every information you can And dedicated then you won’t have any problems,

Only thing I have that is a big issue for me, Was people finding a rotation spot? But that’s only because People are usually graduating at the same time as you, So they want the best to go into the program, So if you’re not doing well in school, they usually don’t want you, That’s why I say work hard to get what you want, No slacking,

MLT Is like nursing, Is very competitive, Yes, it’s a lot of jobs out there and yes, it’s good money, but people are not accepting slackers, They want people that works and dedicated in their job, In this Field You have to know your stuff, Laboratory is the first place they go to when they need answers for the patient, And if you’re not studying, how can you help the doctors with the nurses when giving results?

The school is accredited You gonna get the information you need, Just literally write everything down, Take notes!, Every time they change the syllabus go to financial aid to make sure they understand,

Overall, Good luck and be the bird that catches the Worm!

Also, I got a job with their connections, And I pass my ASCP, also, we’re having a cute beautiful Graduation at Gas...
