Sandy Plaza — Local services in Sandy Township

I go to the Plaza to shop at Aldi's. This is a terrific Aldi's - well organized with friendly staff people and great deals. The parking lot is poorly designed and difficult to navigate through. The entrance from the Beeline Highway going westbound requires drivers to essentially make a u-turn and then kind of exit into the plaza entrance, unless you remember to turn off well in advance of the plaza and take a parallel road south of the Beeline highway that enters straight in to the parking lot. I rarely have the idea to stop at Aldi's in time to make the earlier turn. The VA clinic is also in "The Plaza" as the locals refer to this site. My Uncle Rob came to this VA clinic from Florida (!!) for years because he received the best care for his cardiac problems here. I guess the VA clinic gets 5 stars as...

I like shopping at Aldis, great items, CARRY bery hard to find in DuBoisbarea period is Organic Foods that are Gluten, Wheat, & Eggnfree, an impossible feat for DiBois area except for Martin's great Organic section. Not all Almergy suffers suffer jist with Gluten, my Grandchild.mist have Gliten, Egg, & Wheat free foods only, is a matter of life * death, but rare * so hard to fond on DuBoismarea except for some things at Aldis, but thankfully for Aldis, MRtins, plus some found at Big Logs too, Bur most shopping destinations, Organic items must be HUNTED DOWN!! & AT TKMES, SL HARD TO FIND...
