Went into the store located on south Horner Blvd in Sanford, NC on Saturday standing in line to get the bare essentials that me and my friend needed and we only got one buggy cause we had not planned on getting much of anything at the time but some paper towels. Immediately we were approached by a man and later found out his name was Ron. He told us that we could only get one item of paper products by customer and we explained to him that we had to different house holds and he did not have any customer service respect to anyone. He could have handled the situation better, but apparently he was Stressed out or either overworked which I understand because I’m also in customer service and I have worked every single day during the COVID-19. Then after we checked out we noticed that we had gotten toilet instead of paper towels by mistake. We went back in the store with our products and Receipts and Ron yelled across the store saying you’re not getting anymore and my friend explain to him that we needed paper towels and we had gotten toilet paper, He said you are not returning anything. He was so rude and I promise you that we have enjoyed shopping at this store . But we will never shop at...
Read moreAldi itself is great. Love the bargain surprises and the staple items carried. However, the front end cashier's could use some training in being polite to the customers. I was ready to check out. I see the cashier in the same place she was when I was still shopping. Her and the stock boy were complaining about other employees, the mgmt, the way things were to be stocked., Having to rotate the food in the store. I hollered out, anyone running the front end? The girl (Andrea) yelled back, yeah, put your stuff up there and I'll get to you. When she arrived she didn't greet me back after I asked her how her day was. Instead when she had rang all my items up and waited for the reception to print she proceeded to pick at her cuticles. At which time gave me my receipt with not so much as a bye, thanks for coming etc. Why is it we as customers have to constantly be treated this way? I won't be back. I will drive an hour the other direction if I want anything from Aldo's. Better yet I will go right down the...
Read moreShopping in store is super trashy but Better than Fayetteville. Online shopping for pickup is a NIGHTMARE. I do not recommend. The first time I waited for over 45 minuets. Another time I pulled up to pick up my groceries and it wasn't until after arriving they sent that there is no one available to come out. So I go in and ask the cashier about where to pick up in store like the app said and she just stares. Says literally nothing. Had to wait until the manager comes out to get the groceries. Now, I drive 30 min away to pick up my groceries at the allotted time and 10 min before pickup (I'm already here) I get a notification that there is no one available so they moved it next day in the afternoon. If I wanted my groceries tomorrow afternoon I would have put that... ridiculous. The workers had no idea what it was and didn't know how to fix it. And to cancel you have to call instacart headquarters. Do not have time. Obviously why I chose curbside pickup to start with. Never ordering again....
