Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Sanford

I really hate to leave a bad review to a restaurant that I was so excited to have in Sanford. I visited Popeyes on Sunday around 7:00PM. The line wasn’t to long be I was still in line for 45 minutes. When I started to place my order from the menu the first young man told me that he did not know what I was talking about when I tried to order the specials that were advertised on the menu board. He continued to say that he did not know what I was talking about. I was ordering the 3.99 Chicken nuggets special and the 19.99 Family Meal Special. I asked if could please have someone else take my order. Another young man came ion and I tried to place my order again . He proceeded to tell me that I did not know what I was talking about and that I needed to order from the menu. After trying to tell him again what I wanted I asked to speak to the manager. He told me that he was the manger and that he was up from another store and that he certainly did not need to put up with customers like me. I then heard the headset being slammed down. I sat there a minute and finally asked if anyone was going to take my order. A lady came on and placed my order with no problem. When I got to the window to pay the lady came and apologized and said that they had “ a lot of kids working there”. I have never been treated in such a manner. These young people need to know that no customers means no pay and no job. They need to be trained in the importance of customer service and they also need to know what specials are being offered on the drive Thur menu. I will...

For starters, if anyone tries to say the chicken was hard or super fried, and their biscuits hard are just silly trolls who had to wait 2 1/2 hrs in line like I did. Since opening they did not have enough time to sit on the shelves long enough to get hard, so that is that. Now for my experience. I waited patiently 2 1/2 hrs in line to place my order and be served. Once I arrived home I noticed that my order was missing half of the food, and yes I was very disappointed because that ruined my family dinner that night. I drove back and spoke to polite staff that called on their manager Cindy to help with the problem. Cindy gave me a few options to correct the issues, and I went with the best one. The following day I went back and had my entire order corrected for the inconvenience that my family and I experienced. Derrick and Cindy did an amazing Job in making it right!

Now for the 2nd best part, the chicken, tenders, nuggets, and biscuits were so damn good and fresh that we went back again for another family meal. Now me and my family have been eating KFC/Bojangles for sometime now, but Popeyes was the game changer for us. No one makes their chicken juicer and tender like popeyes for us, we have a new place to go to now for the best chicken! Thank you everyone at Popeyes @ Sandford!
