I really wanted to like this place. The first time I did take-out and everything was ok. The second time, I took a friend here for dine-in and it was terribly embarrassing. First, this place doesn't offer water like typical restaurants. The thing was the waitress didn't even tell us that and just gave us 2 plastic bottles and WE had to ask her. We ordered a bunch of tacos because we wanted to try all the options they have. Food came in a big tray. No utensils, no individual plates were given. Didn't even bring salsa even though when we ordered, the waitress initiated asking which salsa we like. Terrible enough? No! We went to pay and my friend got charged higher than he expected so he asked for a double check and the waitress confirmed it. After he paid and got the receipt, he went through it and he was right! He got charged extra (quantity was put in wrong). Agrrhhh! I felt terrible that I took my friend here and felt so embarrassed how I had recommended this place to him. Probably never come back again since Sanford has so many other good Hispanic...
Read moreA year later we are still coming here, and the food is phenomenal!I don’t know why I waited a year to try the pupusa, but it’s my new favorite!
Our food was amazing! Everything was the absolute freshest. I've never had beans and rice so good. This place was clean as a whistle, and cute inside also. What really impressed me was the customer service because this is something that a lot of establishments are lacking these days. Every single person in the place asked us how are food was and if we needed anything, except one girl. One of the cooks even came to the table to ask us how we liked our food. She even brought me out a container of their consommé to try since I told her I don't like the stuff at another local Mexican restaurant. By the way, I loved it!! I can't say enough about A Toda Madre. Please keep up The good work! I want to add that the food is fresh and may take a little bit longer than some places. Also, this place just opened and they have been very crowded. Anytime you visit a new restaurant you need to...
Read moreVentured on advice from a friend on how wonderful the food was and it delivered! Lupe was fantastic she helped us navigate our first visit and had patience as we asked all the new kid questions. We purchased a' la carte with the empanadas beef and chicken, tostada in beef and papusa in pork and cheese; they do offer traditional plates but we wanted a variety. Everything was excellent, fresh and for how homemade everything tasted was quick and surprisingly filling without being heavy. We made sure to get the weekly special list so we could plan our future meal ideas. Only draw back if I could even call it that; is how small in dine in area is, but it will give you more time to decide your plan of attack if you should dine on a busier day. Will be back and use a lot of rewards points through the...
