I went this past Sunday to take my beach cruiser here that I haven’t used in about 10-11 years, Since high school. Now that I work by the beach I thought to go to the store and buy a new one for about 200$ plus dollars. But I just later changed my mind and why not fix up my oldie but goodie right? So I decided to look up some place online and check it out. I am born n raised from Santa Ana. So this place sounded perfect to me and it was right around the corner from my place. I was a little scared before going because I had no idea what I needed to make my old cruiser work again. So when I walked in I met Sergio the owner. He is probably the most OG humble hard working entrepreneur I’ve ever met from my city. He was very knowledgeable on everything. He explained and gave me options to choose from his shop. He gave me price ranges that were amazingly fair also. He gave me the best customer service I have ever had. Disney land/ Costco are garbage compared to this owners customer service help. He brought my hunk of junk back into life and continue another chapter of my life for 60$ dollars, more or less!!! We need a shop like this to be well known because its from our city and we need to support this awesome type of service available to our community. This man is blessed with god given talents that help us commute, watch our children ride their bikes for the very first time and remember our good times on ours. I’m a customer for life thanks to this bad ass dude. Thanks Sergio you’ve earned a customer for life my friend....
Read moreI went in to have tires & inner tubes replaced on a used bike I had recently purchased. I was convinced upon inspection by whom I assume is the store owner to have maintenance done which included having the hubs greased, derailleur adjusted, wheels straightened, etc... before leaving I was told the crank shifting mechanism wasn't functioning properly. I instructed them to leave as is since riding in 1st & 2nd gear works fine.
I returned to the shop the day I was told my bike would be ready. Tires and tubes changed but maintenance had not been done by the shop mechanic because the shifting mechanism was broken I was told. I stated that was fine and took the bike not fully registering none of the maintenance had been done.
Roughly 2 months go by and I decide to go in and talk to the shop mechanic about the maintenance on my bike. I explained the situation while showing him the receipt for services paid. I explained to him that I didn't completely understand nothing had been done to my bike at the time of drop off and asked - knowing some time had passed - if he'd be willing to fulfill the service. He was nice and told me to bring it in. I asked what would be done and he again stated greasing wheel hubs, crank, derailleur, wheels.
I returned later that afternoon with my bike and he seemed to not remember me coming in earlier and seemed to want to get out of doing any work to the bike by the way he was interacting with me. I figured not much was going to be done to my bike. At the end the brakes were adjusted and...
