Santos Flowers Inc. — Local services in Santa Ana

Please do NOT use Santos Flowers for any event centerpieces. I had been going to Santos Flowers to purchase flower bouquets throughout the years and decided to use them for my wedding centerpieces. The man that assisted us prepared a sample centerpiece with flowers that I hand-picked at their store. He wrote down every single flower name he used on the sample centerpiece, and we paid him for the sample and a deposit for my wedding centerpieces. I went back a second time to pay the remaining balance and asked him to make a few adjustments to the centerpieces. I told him we will pay extra as long as they used more ivory roses. I paid him the extra fee and he revised the invoice. The day before my wedding, Santos Flowers delivered my centerpieces to my reception venue, and I had my family assist in unloading the flowers. Five minutes later, I noticed the flowers on the centerpieces were not at all what I asked for and what was on my invoice. I called Santos Flowers and the man that had initially assisted me said they could not do anything about their mistake. However, they were willing to send the driver back to pick up the flowers and fix the issue if I would pay another delivery fee. I refused to pay a delivery fee when it was their mistake. I decided to go in-person to the store and speak with the man that had initially assisted us in preparing the sample centerpiece. He was extremely rude and said they did not want to help me with fixing their mistake unless I paid more for the delivery fee. I showed him the picture of the sample centerpieces and the ones that I received. They ended up using cheaper flowers on my centerpieces and it looked less full. Then I showed him the invoice that showed I paid for specific flowers. He asked that I leave the store. I asked if they can at least give me the flowers that I had paid for on the invoice and I told him I would fix it myself. He refused. I asked to speak with the owner, but he said the owner did not want to help me with their mistake. At the end, he did NOT offer an apology and only gave me a dozen roses to fix 12 centerpieces and my main sweetheart table flowers as well. I am extremely disappointed and had to use the centerpieces that were provided. The flowers were droopy and not as full as the initial sample I was given. It was too late to fix. Please do yourself a favor and avoid the headache. No bride deserves to be dealing with unprofessional vendors who do not treat their loyal customers with respect. I needed birthday flowers on short notice, it was late, everywhere was closed, so I asked Google to find a florist that was open at 9 p.m. and this is the place that Google served up. I showed up and was blown away by the size and selection, enormous number of roses of various colors, sizes and length. Many designs, all sorts of balloons and stuffed animals of different sizes. And the prices are incredibly reasonable. I was able to get four dozen absolutely gorgeous roses, 2 dozen were red and two dozen were fire and ice; 2 mylar balloons one huge one and one medium sized, the roses were trimmed, re-wrapped with filler and I was handed possibly one of the most beautiful bouquets I had seen. Anywhere else the bouquet would have cost around $150 -$200 or more. All in, balloons plus 4 dozen stunning roses: $65.00 I am not kidding. My 2 yr old son was with me and he had a blast looking at all the balloons and multi colored roses. I will not only be back, but every occasion that requires flowers, I will turn to Santos. They open early they stay open late and their prices are untouchable. What else could...

I called in advance about having a really small but custom bouquet made, and they said they could 100% accommodate. I went over a few days later and the guy at the cashier helped me asap, listened to what I really wanted and went far past what I expected. I just wanted some roses but he offered me all the options and took the time to build it up. They actually cared! (The lady greeted me too when I came in.) They might not have the fanciest flowers or arrangement or the most flowers but they know what they are doing at this mom and pop shop.

They do charge extra if you use a cc so I paid in cash, and he even rounded out my payment (so I paid less). I would’ve paid through my nose for my roses and baby breaths small bouquet somewhere else. It’s not about that extra dollar- it’s just that thoughtfulness and being genuine that I will never forget. Customer service was top notch. I wanted to tip but I wasn’t sure if that was a thing and they didn’t have a jar....
