Went there tired, and honestly not that hungry on a late Friday night. I went to the Central Street Callejon in Santa Ana. Our close family friend was always talking about how good the enchiladas are there. Well she was not kidding; Only, we got there late because I ended my shift later then usual. We arrived there pretty hungry and I was looking forward to those enchiladas. I know... I know... This is a review of Habachihana, but I had to mention the other spot due to the fact that it was our actual intended destination. Do get me wrong those enchiladas are pretty darn good, but it was late and they were closing. Though I did try the chicken, papa con chorizo, and queso/cebolla(all so delicioso), it was not enough. Unfortunately by the time I was going to go back and order 3 more they were closing up. Anyhoo 3 enchiladas, a couple bites of elote, and a banana melon agua... I was still hongre.. I am telling you I was craving the gordo size platter of enchiladas... Pero ni modo/oh well... Nex tyne! Ok ok aki le paro/enough with that back Habachihana. So we are driving back, and sure enough the truck that I was eyeing on the way to our intended spot, was open. N ME'NG I just had to. Not as hongry as I would have hoped, but I still had it in me to share the New York steak and chicken. So glad I did and now I know. Plan err'lees and plan to eat they give a lot. Jesse, Jose and the girl taking the order.. Muchas gracias.. Aye nos...
Read moreThey are awesome!! Not only are you able to get hibachi off of a food truck late at night… But it’s actually really delicious and fresh too! I am kind of a quality snob and it was very very fresh! They had no problem, making it without certain things that I’m not able to eat, they were extremely friendly even though I came right before they closed. A lot of places give you attitude or dirty looks but I didn’t feel any kind of animosity about pulling in right before they closed-They were shutting their windows when I was pulling away with my food! I just really appreciate that kind of service and integrity in business. Definitely recommend coming here. And I don’t think it’s as high priced as some of the reviewers have said personally, especially if you understand the rate for hibachi style food. It was $15 for chicken and shrimp Fried rice and the portion was huge. Thanks again...
Read moreHonestly $82 for 1 steak shrimp plate and 1 steak plate is ridiculous might as well go sit at a steak house where I know my steak is going to be cooked the way I like it. The steak was so dry and all I got was rice and noodles on my plate when I clearly asked the girl if I can get half rice and half noodles she said yes I get home to see no veggies on my plate when I called she said since I substituted get no veggies wouldn’t you think that should have been mentioned when I ordered some people honestly lack common sense. Working as a server in college that’s definitely something that I would’ve brought up!!! Either way it’s definitely not worth the price just get a to go order from a steak house if you feel like...
