Super 99 Cents Plus — Local services in Santa Barbara

I need to write this review because I live in the area, known and shopped in that place for many years now. This place is fantastic, they have all the necessities you need to shop around. The Owners are two Asian people, one lady who is very obviously smarts about the business; its product, and the other person (which I am not sure how there related) who I know does try but due to his accent has a hard time speaking and may be misjudged by certain people. Either way when you shop, be nice to the store clerk since he does indeed try regardless of his accent since they deserve it. Either way I wish these owners well.

For a very small space, its very big and productive on and organize supplies and this is probably the biggest store business Ive ever encountered. Good on them for making it successful...

I shop here all the time. I can get the things I need at home for about 1 to 2 dollars each. Cleaning & laundry supplies. Shampoo & bth. Stuff. Food & kitchen ware etc. Even arts & crafts & toys for kids. All Holiday decorations for so much less than others stores. Some items aren't as good quality as a supermarket. But when you afford a lot or just trying to save money it's great. Somethings they could improve like they never have enough cashiers & I've stood in line for 20 to 30 minutes. Plus the crowds that shop there you can't pass each other in the isles. Plus now that they carry stuff that's more than a dollar runs out of stock fast. They've stopped selling stuff I used to only buy there, but now I have to go elsewhere. Bubble bath & small storage boxes,small trash cans & buckets. Just...

The owners are courteous and the inventory is huge. I buy toothpaste, mouthwash, cleaning materials, backpacks, batteries, sunglasses and things that are 2 or 3x's more expensive at other stores. You can return certain things, but I buy things that are necessary and will last as long as at any other store. I have a budget and I can honor that. I enjoy the soft-spoken and polite disposition of the owners. I HIGHLY recommend this place over the more commercial 99 cent stores because it is locally owned...
