I ordered a bunk bed about 6 or 7 weeks ago from Reeds Furniture. Coaster had it sitting in a truck for weeks because it wasn't convenient to send the bed out until the truck was full. Eventually after calling for weeks the bed was finally delivered to Reeds and they had to wait a few more days to schedule a delivery to me. The bed was supposed to be installed today, on a Sunday, but the box was missing the hardware. So now my kids have no bed to sleep on because we took them apart and disposed of them to make room for the new bed. Coaster is apparently unreachable on Sundays. So, Reeds left the bunk bed assembled in my daughters' room. All we needed to know was the hardware and we could've bought it. But they are slow, unreachable on weekends, and incompetent enough to not put the required hardware in with a piece of furniture. What if they put in the wrong hardware and the bed fell, injuring my daughters? I hope this hasn't happened to anyone. To the company, I recommend you provide your retailers with 24/7 support for instances like this. My poor daughters, wife, and myself are all put out by this inconvenience. We had to move all of their clothes and toys into our room and have furniture waiting to be built and put in. Our whole house is waiting for this bunk bed installation before it can return to the room. And, I had to break a promise to them. A parent should never have to break a promise to their child(ren). I hold you, Coaster Furniture (and Reed's Furniture... you should have checked the boxes if this is a known problem as well as known your manufacturers better), accountable for that broken promise to...

The place I bought it from said I had to go through the manufacturer Coaster Furniture for service. They want a picture of your receipt and a picture showing they manufactured it. It didnât help they labeled the parts inconsistently from right to left ( have four identical parts all labeled differently. Returned the bar and reordered another one from CoasterâŠ.damaged. The damaged pice didnât even make it to my house since UPS deemed the box unfit for deliveryâŠclearly just fine for Coasters standards. After a month and a half went with another company.
