I went into the railyard location after work. There were two versions of the same strain, one being original, one being sungrown. I saw the original was out on the shelves, and asked if they were out. The budtender replied saying, ā no, we still have some.ā Which I was happy about. She proceeded to get my order, which consisted of 7 grams of said strain, and checked me out. I went outside to my car and looked at my order and saw it was the sungrown. Unhappy about this, I went back inside and asked if there was anything they could do. They told me they couldnāt exchange it. So I spoke with a manager, who wasnāt rude but wasnāt helpful at all. I explained what happened, and that the budtender did not specify which version of the strain she was selling me. She told me there was nothing she could do and proceeded to put all blame on me, which I felt was wrong, and am a bit offended by. I say all this to say, please be better guys!! This is MEDICINE for some people!! And us patients deserve to be treated with integrity...

I returned to the store and a bud tender took the quarter into the backroom, a few minutes later an owner walked up then told me that the fuzzy grey mold growing on the inside of bud wasn't mold, but was in fact sun damage. He told me that the quarter could replaced but I'll see more of the same "sun damage". I asked again and he said again, that the grey fuzzy mold was not mold. The owner then said I could exchange it for something else entirely. I exchanged the quarter and left.
Botrytis (grey mold) is bud rot and it should not be inhaled, much less sold as medicine. To have someone lie to my face was pretty insulting.
I previously never had any issues at Best Daze but this owner was unapologetic and will surely continue to sell grey mold, which is pretty telling of a business and its practices.

Every dispensary Iāve visited in New Mexico will return the $3.50 to me after Iāve finished my transaction. Best daze has always done this for me in the past but when I went to inform the budtender, chashier#9891, about this the fire alarm mysteriously and conveniently went off and three workers simultaneously walked out the back and I was forced to leave because they ācanāt help me at the moment.ā Donāt support best daze the budtenders are rude and classist and prove that the company only cares about the money and not their customers.
