Like other Malls across the country, this Mall doesn't have everything it used to offer. However, there are still stores, food, and a HUGE modern Movie theater. This Mall still has some of the oldies but goodies though. My Favorite â¤ď¸ being Hot Dog on a Stick. For those of you don't know...... đđHot Dog on a Stickâď¸đ What it is: A fast-food chain specializing in corn dogs and THE BEST fresh-squeezed lemonade. History: It started in Santa Monica, CA, in 1946 and became one of the first food stands in a mall, which led to its expansion into mall food courts across the nation.
The Santa Maria Town Center Mall also sports an arcade, and some of my favorite shops like Spencers, Bath and Bodyworks. There is a Kevin Jewelers, Journeys, Victoria's secret, Rue21, Macy's, LensCrafters, Cotton:On + Cotton on Kids, Footlocker, a Whipper Snippers ( the BEST place to get a little kids hair cut), and much more. Lots of good food including a Red Robin and a Cowboy Cookie and Ice Cream shop.
My last words are this. It's still fun to go to the Mall even if they're not what they used to be. I love taking my daughter at least once a year. It's fun, we get time together outside the house, and I get a better idea of what kinda of things she's interested in as she grows up. I get to be a kid...
Read moreSanta Maria Town Center is the closest thing we have to a mall in Santa Maria. Their biggest anchors are Macyâs, Sears, and the fairly new 14 screen Edwards / Regal RPX Cinema which was built from the ground up after the area leased by Gottschalks was leveled. SMTC was sold / acquired a few years ago. The new owners havenât been attracted much in the way of new big name stores or restaurants. Red Robin was recently fully remodeled. Itâs the most âsit downâ restaurant in the Santa Maria Town Center. The SLO Grind coffee shop just closed next to Bath and Body Works and there are numerous unleaded spaces. Upstairs has shops for active families and birthday parties with places like On Deck batting cages and Rockin Jump. Iâd like to think that SMTC still has potential despite all of the growth going on across town at...
Read moreFor a small town its definitely evident it fits in perfectly, small town mall. We DO have a Macy's and some newer franchises have bought vacant spaces and I think the mall is really doing the best it can. Rent was raised at Town Center Mall, so there's QUITE a bit of other big name companies & shopping centers where you can feel like you've been shopping at a nicer mall. With the exception of a few stores, I'd have never felt a desire to go here...but there is construction of housing establishments AS WELL as shopping centers. We are not SUCH an invisible SMALL town anymore. Over 500k+ individuals living in the vicinity so retailers stepped up their efforts to grow as our town turns into a city. .....There's talk we could be getting a Victoria's Secret. That is what I am holding...
