Lot 8 North — Local services in Santa Monica

12$ to park. Nobody staffed at the booth. 45 minute wait in line at a parking lot to pay for parking on the single self pay terminal.

Family on the beach, I'm standing in the sun missing half the day to pay

Staff the booth or install more payment terminals. People were walking off the lot, accepting they may get a ticket rather than wait. Had I known it'd take nearly an hour to pay, I'd have done the same.

Horrible experience, no thought or use planning...

Nice lot. Hard to get into from the northbound lanes. Close to the showers and bathrooms. Beach is super wide and there is plenty of space to spread out and keep away from the touristas. Bathrooms are clean and...
