Museum of Illusions — Attraction in Santa Monica

This place had been on our list for months, and we finally made a few weeks ago as soon as it opened. It’s genuinely fun and packed with creative illusions. A heads-up: a few exhibits can feel a bit dizzying, so take your time if you’re sensitive to that.

The staff play a big role in the experience. They greet you right away, and throughout the visit different team members introduce each exhibit. Even if you initially want to explore on your own, it’s worth accepting their guidance as they explain the setups clearly and take excellent photos that really bring out the illusion effects.

We highly recommend this experience! The staff were fantastic—they freely explained every exhibit and were happy to take pictures of our whole party.
