You can always get a low-priced massage, but if you want to go into another realm, a really deep healing place, then you need the real thing. Liz is the real thing! The entire operation is high class. She has the top notch feel good vibe from when you lie down on the heated, yes HEATED table with an actual grounding pad to boot! Upon finding my shoulders were really in need, Liz used some super sci fi frequency tool (called Rapid Release) to get through the first waves of resistance. Oh my gosh and then came the hot stones. Okay let me preface this with I have had hot stone massages, but nothing like this. Where before they may have done a surface fly by with the stones only to have them land in a holding pattern on your back, this is like flying first class after being stuck on a fed ex package flight. The hot stones used in this way, all over, to get in places where you really need it. I can’t say enough about the ultimate relaxation that occurred due to this technique. I was in bad shape last night(1/22/24). I hurt my neck-that's a long story-but the right side of my neck from the right scapula up the neck into my skull was frozen, locked and very painful. It was very dangerous driving because I couldn't turn my head in either direction. I almost never will get a massage, spend money on these sorts of things, but it was either that or go to St Johns ER and wait 5 hours for a steroid shot and muscle relaxants. I googled massage in Santa Monica and found JWYK. I called her and told her my situation. It was last minute and early evening but she took me in. I only wanted to pay a certain amount so we agreed to 30 minutes and just focused on the multiple muscle spasms and the lock. She went above and beyond, she did at least 40 to 45 minutes. I was in desperate need for a massage and Liz Angeles got back with me within 10 minutes, proceeded to book me with her which was exciting for me as I know that she has a business with other massage therapists. Upon entering her place of business I was taking away to a special blissful Place. It’s definitely a mini spa. I have never been to such a quality professional therapist in my life and I’ve been getting massages for 25 years. Not only are her hands naturally warm and soothing she has every kind of healing tool you can imagine. Actually I couldn’t even imagine all of the things that she used on me. One of the things she used on me was called a Beamer Matt and it’s not just a mat it’s a unbelievable relaxing warming tantalizing stimulating piece of equipment that you lay on. She also does cupping, pregnancy massage and of course a wonderful Swedish massage with the best massage cream I’ve ever had used on me!
