The Heart of Route 66 Vintage Market — Local services in Sapulpa

I called The Heart of Route 66 Vintage Market searching for a little cat figurine that had a ball that would change color with the weather. The little cat was on my Grandparent's shelf when I was a child and the last time I saw it, I was 19. I'm 50 now. I've been searching for this piece for 30 years. I asked if I could tell her what I remember about it. The nice lady was so very kind and so very interested in helping me find this piece. She searched based on my description and found 3 different designs! (2 made in Italy! Cat & Dog!) Apparently, the little cat statue with the barometric ball of yarn was made in Japan, as I had thought because my Aunt Sachiko is Japanese, and it was made between the 1950s and 1970s! I remembered the cat as sitting down, but it's actually stretched out with it's rear on the ground and both its paws on the ball of yarn that is flocked and covered in Cobalt chloride so it would turn blue in sunny weather and pink in rainy weather. I can't believe after 30 years of looking off and on, she was able to find it so very fast from my simple description! I was so happy I thanked her repeatedly! This is the place to go when you need antique information or just want to shop a business run by a wonderful person! Thank you again...

Went in with my friends and this lady/worker would not stop following us. She was rude and nasty about it as well. We were just trying to take a picture to create memories and she’s like “there’s a mirror outside.” Way to ruin the mood. And she would say excuse me but didn’t even move. She was right behind us all the time and followed us everywhere in that store, probably because she thought we were going to steal and were in a group, but no, I just wanted to shop with my friends. I usually come into this store to look around with my family and have no issues, but when I’m with my friends there’s suddenly an issue. We were just trying to have fun, but she ruined it. The staff was very rude and one one the ladies with red hair followed me and my sister around the store i mean upstairs and downstairs and then yelled at me and gave my little sister multiple faces and dirty looks and also making comments under her breath which is not only nasty but unprofessional and not a good look for the store making me leave immediately. I will not be returning and will make sure nobody that i know will go either until this issue is fixed its so incredibly annoying and disgusting its is even more disgusting that im not the only person to write a review about the staff following them fix this...
