Sarasota Pack and Ship — Local services in Sarasota

We chose Sarasota Pack and Ship because we use the iPostal1 service from PostNet and they are in the network. We have had a very positive experience in Colorado but we needed to move our business to Florida. This location was convenient to my mother, who might need to pick us mail occasionally for us. No one told us at the time but they nickel and dime you. They charge you a dollar for each piece of mail that you pickup. All of a sudden we received an email saying we were going to be charged for a letter we had picked up a month earlier. When we called, the girl on the phone was combative and demanded that we much schedule an appointment to pick up mail Huh? No, we will pick up our mail when it is convenient for us. Then she turned around and charged us $1 for an appointment for picking up our mail from a month ago. Which they apparently didn't know they did. While we are 400 miles away.

The locations on Fruitville and University Parkway don't charge for letters so I would choose one of those locations. If it wasn't such a pain to change addresses, I would move to one of the other locations on principal.

Big line at the post office so I went in and asked if they sold forever stamps. He did NOT know the answer to this question. He said, we sell stamps

I said OK is there a surcharge? He didn’t understand that question either

I said is there an extra charge because it is not the post office? (this one, I asked twice) He did not understand this question and said I can sell you these stamps.

I was pretty shocked as this is the quality of our teenagers these days ,… and representative of the poor training that he was given to take care of a store on a Saturday. Really? Imagine if I paid with cash and he had to do the math And give me a change without a machine telling them what to do
