Beautiful store ,the ready to eat options out of the deli where amazing, enormous fresh sushi bar ,bakery was a little too small, was a little disappointed not to see a few of my favorite bakery items not available, the staff very helpful and friendly everywhere you go ,only thing is publix seems to cater to what they think in that neighborhood would purchase and social scale and with Sarasota being home to the nation's number 1 beach that just isn't the case ,we have our "seasonals" that live here 3 maybe 4 months out of the year but the people who sustain their grocery stores in Sarasota are the working class with a variety of needs and wants which publix does not carry and forces us to...

I'm new to this neighborhood. So I first checked out furniture at Big Lots. The items I was looking for were too expensive. But there are offers on their website as well. Then I moved on to Dollar Tree, which was a disappointment (disorganized, not well stocked, etc.) Bealls didn't have much furniture items like I've seen at other locations. Publix was my final stop. I really enjoy their make-your-own subs. They're a bit expensive like most items in their stores. But this might be time see their deli employees smile & being friendly. Nice newer store, great selection, prices and a very friendly staff. The bakery items are always fresh and the quality for a grocery store is the best around.
