Big monkey — Local services in Saugatuck

Three weeks ago, we went into this store to look around for souvenirs during our vacation. We chose a blank shirt and chose our design to be pressed on thinking it was a neat idea. When we first got it, I immediately noticed that the design was not centered but I was willing to live with it. We paid over $26 for one shirt-already a bit expensive but it’s a touristy spot so it wasn’t super concerning. We got home with it and we’re so excited to put it on and wear it, but not even 20 minutes into wearing it, the decal starting peeling up and ripping! The decal is now completely ruined after one wear, and it hasn’t even been washed yet, so there’s probably more damage to come. In hindsight we probably should have seen this coming but either way we were incredibly disappointed in the quality. Hopefully this gets out to the other tourists on their vacations so they can know not to buy any shirts from their store. The drug store on the corner and the 2/$20 store have much much better quality items and next time we visit, we’ll make sure to take our business...

We walked around to look at the pride collection. They had some cool stuff. But then right next to the pride stuff are the gems pictured in this review. We didn’t even notice the ones on the rack at first. Just the sample on the wall above. Then when we mentioned the shirts to the employee and what they make people feel like, she walked over and moved some shirts to uncover the racks of them.

In a very accepting and inclusive place like Saugatuck, it’s a shame to see this man’s face and name, which has so much hate towards the LGBTQ+ community attached to it, just so you can make a couple bucks.

Please consider removing political items like this from your store as they make many people...

I made a purchase here in January. I couldn't try it on because of covid but the lady said as long as I had the receipt I could bring it back. I told her I would bring it back right away but she mentioned she wasn't sure they would be open because it's off season. So when I went to take it back they we're not open. This is a tourist town and I do not live here. But she had also said as long as I have the receipt I will be fine. Today I tried to take it back. they would not give me a refund. Absolutely horrible service. . Flat out lying. Just beware. I'll be contacting my credit card company and they will get the charge reversed. Update........
