Wicks Park is a great place to be when in Saugatuck! At the north side of the park is the Saugatuck Chain Ferry, the last of it's kind in America, where you can cross the Kalamazoo River for $2.00. There are several benches along the river, perfect for relaxing and watching the boats go by. At the center of the park there's a gazebo, which holds the summer Music in the Park events every Wednesday from June to August. A public restroom also lies in the center with a mural on it depicting โA Sunday on La Grande Jatteโ by Georges Seurat that's been there since I was a kid! This small village park, named after former village president Frank Wicks, offers some great views of the river and is a prime location especially if you're looking for the many restaurants...
