Just stopped into the New Holland Spirits tasting room in Saugatuck and had a fantastic experience. This spot is absolutely worth a visit if you’re anywhere near the area — especially if you’re into craft spirits or hard-to-find bourbons.

The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, and the staff behind the bar really know their stuff. I had a few pours of their higher-end bourbons — things you can’t just find on a store shelf — and I was genuinely impressed. Deep flavor, good complexity, and clearly made with care. I also appreciated that they had several tasting-room-only bottles available. These aren’t widely distributed, so it was cool to get access to something exclusive.

I ended up picking up two bottles of bourbon and a tasting glass as a souvenir. They even had a sign-up for their email list, which I joined on the spot — I want to make sure I get notified about future special releases or B Club offerings.

The staff was friendly, the pours were generous, and overall the experience felt personalized without being pretentious. Whether you’re new to bourbon or a seasoned hunter, you’ll find something here that stands out. I’d definitely come back the next time we’re in Saugatuck.

Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in town — whether you’re looking to sip something special, grab a bottle to go, or just enjoy the laid-back...

Fun little spot for great drinks. Super nice bartender, Brie, who remembered our names and made great conversation. She even helped us decide where to go to dinner ( Lady Bird was a great call for vegetarians). The Dragon’s Milk Old Fashioned was delish. Brie was very knowledgeable and talked to us a lot about the drinks. Biggest complaint- there needs to be some food! I can’t sit and drink cocktails on an empty stomach! We would have stayed longer if there had been anything to eat besides potato chips. I know food is not the focus- but when you have people in their 40s who want to enjoy some drinks, we can’t do that for very long without food. Some basics like pretzels with mustard or hummus or tortilla chips or nuts would have been welcome. Also, on a nice day, the ambiance is a little lacking- moving seating towards the front might be a little more inviting. We did sit at the bar...

New Holland Brewing Co. is amazing! My boyfriend and I visited the tasting room in Saugatuck in November, 2021 and July We have really enjoyed ourselves both visits. The bartenders are extremely personable and talented. I have tried many cocktails here and all of them are SO GOOD! A unique thing about this brewing company is that all of the bartenders have a competition where they each create a craft cocktail - then the best cocktails make the seasonal menu. Such a great way to showcase talent and creativity. I personally think that these cocktails are well worth what they cost and are actually very acceptably priced for the Saugatuck area. I am so happy I found this place and will try to continue to make the trip from...

I would not consider this a bar, but more of a crafter's paradise. Yes, the drinks are pricey, but based on the time and attention they put into their ingredients and preparation, I would expect nothing less. If you're a fan of dragon's milk and a quality bourbon, the BEER DRINKER'S OLD FASHIONED is the drink for you. Where else are you going to find a drink made with Dragon's milk syrup? They not only make the syrup in-house, but they also sell it by the bottle! These guys know their drinks and they have a unique menu more than satisfy every palate. Cheers!

What a great little spot. We stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon and were the only people here. The bartender was nice and gave us a few other spots in the area that were worth visiting. We both ordered a cocktail and thought they were really good. I would recommend stopping in here as there's some creative cocktails on the list and there is probably something for everything, including NA drinks. We would have loved to sit and try a few more, but we still had quite a bit of driving ahead of us, so that wasn't in the cards.
