If I could give this place 10 stars I would.
When I first found out they've been in business for 33 years I was stunned, but once I spoke with several members of their staff regarding an exchange it all made perfect sense.
For starters, they had the latest stock in On Cloud shoes and I was able to find a pair that was sold out everywhere else I looked - so I was already impressed by that. Unfortunately, because On Cloud’s sizing is a bit off, I had to exchange for a half size down (what I thought would fit better). They happily sent me the half size down, and it arrived super quick in a few days. Well, that pair didn’t fit either - I felt so bad and called the team and it was handled immediately without question - they sent me another half step down on the call. Keep in mind, this was all before I even sent back the two pairs they had sent me originally. Everyone I interacted with throughout the entire process was super super nice and helpful.
This is the kind of customer support you get at places like Landsharks, I honestly had never heard of it living in NY but because they had stock in the pair of On Cloud’s I wanted I was able to find such an amazing business. Read moreCompletely impressed with the customer service and follow up that Landsharks in Saugatuck provided. They had a baseball cap that I wanted, but unfortunately not in my size. After speaking to an employee they said they were not certain if it was even available anymore. I was asked to leave my name and contact information so they could contact me if one was available. I left thinking I will never hear back from them in any capacity, if the hat was available or not. So, to my surprise a few weeks later I received a call from a Landsharks employee asking me where I wanted to hat shipped to if I still wanted it. I was completely taken aback by the follow up and follow through. I received the hat a coupe of days later along with a very nice card thanking me for my patience! All I can say is wow! Very few companies today take the time to assist a customer in this manner, especially for a relatively inexpensive baseball hat.

We try to support the local businesses when we visit, but in the back of my mind is the worry that if a large clothing or shoe purchase should somehow go awry, what type of remedy will I get from a tourist store two or three hours away?
I spent about $180 at Landsharks for a pair of Pajar boots back in November. When putting on the boots one day in February, the lining in the back of the boot ripped. Horrified, I looked at the Pajar website and they simply said, "call your retailer".
I imagined the worst, but was greeted with the best. A few quick emails - and a handwritten thank you note - and I had a replacement pair sent to my home. I'm a believer in Landsharks and they'll gladly get my dollars, even if the same thing can be had a bit less from an online source.
