I highly recommend Heather if you're looking for a soft or full glam makeup look for your big event and a very sweet and calming makeup artist. I don't typically wear a ton of makeup, but I wanted a soft glam look for my wedding and it was important to me that the makeup not get washed out in photos. I'd tried a more natural makeup artist before finding Heather and realized how easy it is for makeup to get lost in a photo. Heather's makeup looks flawless in photos and in person. The makeup was applied in a way that it felt light, like I wasn't wearing much (which is important if you don't want to feel like you have a face caked with makeup), and, most important, I still felt like I looked like me, just glammed up!

She also understood exactly what I wanted for my hair and nailed what I was going for. I showed her a picture and we talked about the style I wanted a bit, and that's all she needed. I didn't do a bridal hair and makeup trial beforehand and it didn't matter - she understands makeup and hair techniques so well and can definitely make you look the way you imagine, even if you don't have time for a trial.

Heather is so incredibly sweet and kind. She has a calming presence and worked really well under pressure. My bridal suite lost power the morning of the wedding, and she and her team easily transitioned into a new location and got right to work so we didn't lose too much time. Her team was fantastic as well - she was able to accommodate a very large group of ladies.

I hired Heather to do my hair, along with my 11 bridesmaids and mother/mother-in-law and a few others, for my wedding day, and I'm so happy I did! Heather was so incredible to work with every step of the way.

My wedding was a destination wedding since my now husband and I live in NYC — so I relied heavily on recommendations and reviews to choose many of my vendors. When I asked around about hair stylists, almost everyone I talked to said, "YOU HAVE TO HIRE HEATHER!" Now I understand why!

When I first reached out almost a year before my wedding, Heather immediately responded to my email with a million questions. She also called me that evening to introduce herself and explain her services. I loved that personal touch! A few months later I came down to Savannah for my trial. She was so sweet...she took the time to get to know me and understand my vision. Plus, her work was (beyond) beautiful!

On my wedding day, Heather and her assistant (they were doing hair for 15 women, so we hired an assistant, as well) were very efficient and accommodating. They kept us on schedule, and each and every girl was thrilled with her hair...including myself. As a bride, every detail is so important...especially how you look and feel on your big day. Heather made my feel absolutely stunning and I'll be forever grateful for that.

Words cannot describe how grateful I am to have Heather as my hair and makeup artist on my wedding day. First and foremost, she is an absolutely wonderful human being- she has a warm and calming presence and really sets you at ease, especially during stressful moments of your wedding day. She is great at reading people and understanding your vision of what you would like to look like. I'm pretty sure I wasn't great at communicating what I wanted and somehow, she translated what little I gave her into something even better than what I had envisioned. I went with a very romantic-meets-glam style of hair and makeup and was BEYOND happy.

My bridesmaids were nervous about having their hair up since they're used to seeing dated-looking up-do's. But after the wedding, many of them pulled me aside and said how much they loved their hair. Their modern up-do's looked like they were straight out of Pinterest- flowing and beautiful!

I was particularly blown away by Heather's make up skills (I actually asked her if I can take some lessons with her in the future!). She is an extremely skilled artist who enhances your features without making you look cakey or unrecognizable. I received a multitude of compliments from many of my friends who were brides before and had the scary 'I have too much makeup on my face' moment with their weddings- they all were floored at how natural and beautiful her makeup turned out to be. Not to mention the fact that Heather's makeup read so beautifully in our wedding photos too!
