At the end of March 2022 I brought my iPhone XR in for a screen repair. The screen was cracked at the top and so I wasn't able to access the control center. I had looked online for apple certified technicians and thought this place was a valid repair center. When I went inside I explained the work I needed done and they got on it right away. After 30ish minutes they tell me my phone is done and they bring it to the counter for me to pay. The screen was fixed BUT my battery was drained. I had brought the phone into the shop with 80% of a battery, I told them that something must be wrong and asked that they open it back up and look back inside. They took it back again and after 10ish minutes they came back up with it and told me that my battery was "bad" and that they gave me a new one at no extra cost. A warning came up in my settings saying that it wasn't a verified part, but the person at the desk told me that that was normal. I didn't want to be a bother and plus my screen was fixed so I left. Since then, my phone randomly shuts off at random times, I have to basically jumpstart my phone to turn it back on. It's very annoying. I finally took it into a place that I verified was Apple Certified in the city I currently live in and I was told that this store, iStore phone repair, did not run the proper diagnostics and also gave me an off brand battery. They took my good battery and gave me a bad one. On top of that, I took my phone in to get a screen protector at Best Buy and the person who installed it for me told me that my screen was on the device incorrectly. Meaning that not only was my battery stolen from me, but that the screen job that I PAID for was done improperly. I now have to pay for these repairs again and I'm so frustrated that I was deceived. So this is a story everyone has to here I was getting ready to go to the Apple Store to have my screen fixed on an iPhone 6 and a friend of mine heard that I was going there he jumped all over me and told me don't you dare go there . Go to the repair shop in Scarborough it's called I store phone repair so I went there for two issues one my screen was not working second I forgot my iCloud account and password so I spoke to To the guy and told him my issue he told me that he can replace the screen the LCD the whole assembly line it would take about 10 minutes and then I said 10 minutes yes Apple told me It will take four hours to change the screen I asked them how much it will be he said $89.95 have a seat please Plus he will give me a free template glass . I ask hem about the other issue with the iCloud account he said The only way you can unlock it or change the passcode is after we finish with the work you can go to Apple and they will get rid of the passcode so when I left I store phone repair my phone was working fine I went to Apple for some reason they locked my phone up and they can help me out anymore I said what is going on when I brought you the phone the phone was working fine Apple said it was I store fault not true my phone was working perfectly OK when I left I store phone repair and apples somehow managed to screw my phone up so Apple did not want to help me whatsoever I went back to i store phone repair and told him my issue. fortunately my phone did not have an iCloud account just the first six digits on the front within 25 minutes I store unlock my numbers and gave me back my working phone please to anyone that owns an iPhone do not go to that Apple Store to get your fixed I beg...

I paid for a charging port on Monday the 18th. I was told it would be ready on Friday .I called Friday at 3:30 and asked if it was in. I was told that it was, I had a conversation and said that I would be there a little bit after five. They said that was fine that they were open until 6. I drove Up from York . I arrived at 522, I was sitting at a red light across the street from the store, I saw two people walk out of the store and get into a truck. I Passed them as we both crossed rt one in different directions. I was pulling into the parking lot and they were pulling out. When I got to the door I realize that it was the people from the store that has closed. There was no note on the door as to why they were closed early no phone call saying that they would be closing early, and no phone call .Very very bad Way to do business. I have another phone repair store in hopes of having my phone repair there after payment on my credit card for this one. UPDATE** I went tot he store yesterday to get my phone back. Danny was very professional and apologetic. He made this right in many ways. He and John are both very good business men and stand behind their word. I agree that I was angry and upset. I had spoken to John on Tues and told him that I would drive up on Weds. When I did Danny spoke to me and wanted to "Make this right" I can say that his store does business in ways that you do not find often anymore and they have gained a loyal customer.
