Updated Review (June 2025): We first visited this gem in 2018 and were thrilled to return during our recent trip to Maine. This place is still buzzing with customers, and it’s no surprise why! The ice cream remains phenomenal, with an impressive array of flavors that never disappoint. We opted for the sampler pack to try a variety, and each scoop was bursting with creamy, delicious goodness. We’re already planning one more visit before heading back to the West Coast. Thank you for consistently serving up such unforgettable ice cream! Original Review: During our trip to Maine in 2018, we heard about a beloved local gem, The Dairy Corner, known for its exceptional ice cream. When we arrived, the place was buzzing with excitement, a testament to its popularity! We eagerly ordered our flavors and were whisked away to a world of creamy, delicious bliss. The ice cream was absolutely outstanding; rich, flavorful, and unforgettable. The Dairy Corner has earned a permanent spot on our must-visit list for our next Maine adventure!

We always like to hit the ice cream hot spots when we are on vacation and we really left this stop until the last minute. We hit up The Dairy Corner on our way to the airport at around 1pm on Saturday. There was no line to speak of so after spending some time considering our astoundingly long list of flavor options we went to the window to place our order. We had the chocolate/vanilla froyo soft serve and a scoop of the Maine wild blueberry ice cream. The serving sizes were enormous! We took out ice cream around back to enjoy in their outdoor seating area. The yogurt was good but yogurt is pretty much the same wherever you get it. The blueberry ice cream was creamy and fresh and truly outstanding. Bummed we waited to try this place until we were on our way out of town, but there is always next year!

It’s easy to see why locals and tourists alike love the Dairy Corner! And why the line at the end of summer is still long. There is something for everyone! Many different flavors of ice cream, but also many other options. The list of flavors is in such fine print it’s difficult to read in line. I’d recommend a Purple Piping Plover, made with black raspberry ice cream, white chocolate chunks and chocolate chips. Got a medium and it was too big haha! A small is more than adequate!

The Dairy Corner in Scarborough, Maine, is the kind of place where your sweet tooth's wildest fantasies are churned into reality. Arriving there, you'll find a line that rivals those at Disneyland, filled with eager faces that know the wait is worth it. The parking lot is a game of Tetris, but hey, burning a few calories before the ice cream assault is just smart planning.

Ordering a small here is a revelation: it's the size of a ginormous in any other universe. Imagine a scoop so generous it feels like they're trying to apologize for something. The ice cream itself? Silky, rich, and likely crafted by the gods of dairy.

The staff are a delight—serving smiles as generously as they serve scoops. They're the kind of people who would help you parallel park if they weren't so busy crafting frozen masterpieces. The Dairy Corner isn't just an ice cream spot; it's a sweet sanctuary where every cone is a monument...

The regular soft serve is always good here and there are often some pretty interesting flavors to choose from. The hard scoop ice cream has plenty of flavors, but I believe is not made in the store, and I think there are better options for hard scoop locally. The frozen yogurt blended with fruit is something I haven't seen elsewhere and is delicious. The kids always love getting the Batman and Spiderman power pops. We have bought ice cream cakes here a few times which have always been very good and reasonably priced. The biggest letdown on the menu that I have found is the Only 8 which I have noticed seems to be much icier and denser than I have had at other ice cream shops. I thought it may have been a one time thing, but it has been that way each time. On a hot summer day be prepared for a wait, as the lines can...
