Subway — Restaurant in Scarborough

First thing I noticed was the smiling employees when I walked through the door into a nice smelling clean establishment. There was a spread of fresh meat veggies and cheese in containers that looked like they'd just been filled ready to be used. The sandwich crafting area was clean. The employees interacted in pleasant conversation as they made my sandwich, a Philly steak and cheese on honey oat bread, and when I asked for extra jalapenos that's exactly what I got, not a comical amount but the right amount! Ordered online at 6pm for pick up at 6:45pm. Got to Subway at 7:15 & subs were not ready. Person at the counter was a little rude & stated that they were too busy to make my subs. Asked me if I wanted him to cut in front of other customers to complete my order. Then this individual & co-worker started complaining about how busy they were. Also negative remarks about other co workers. Complained that day shift did a poor job prepping - ran out of lettuce at 4 & never bothered to prep additional lettuce. Ordered two subs online and went in to pick them up, didn’t look at the sandwiches until I got home. I ordered a BMT (known for being heavy on the meat) and the moment I unwrapped the sandwich I knew it was wrong. It looked empty and there was maybe one piece of each meat in there with skimpy toppings. Usually I struggle to eat these without making a mess, this was not the case here.
