Remember to bring your shopping bag, and bring a quarter coin to rent a shopping cart. Their checkout lanes are poorly designed if you are only picking up a handful of items - you must "juggle them" while you fumble for payment. The need for a "quarter coin" boggles my mind in this new "cashless electronic payment world" we live in. The only reason to save quarters is to collect all the states, or go to the laundromat, which I do neither. Don’t assume they are cheaper than Walmart next door. Use your calculator. Sometimes yes, mostly no- but there are some deals. I really miss the Food For Less that used to stand in the same location, for best prices and superior service. It's almost worth the drive to their location in Northlake - much better frozen food selection than both. And you can forget about Ross next door as well. As I heard a stand up comic correctly describe it as "downtown Beirut". "This is a nice shoe - do you have the other one?" It's not really funny - it's true. A really pretty new store that's completely trashed inside, just like the other one in Schaumburg. And zero service. It's more like shopping a rummage sale than retail. Keep driving to Marhall's or TJ Max, who do it much better than Ross. Ya DON'T...
Read moreI have shopped at Aldi's for years and stopped by this location for the first time today since the store location I used to shop at moved here. Service is at its worst and I am happy to report that I am not coming back! The total mess and inability to move around the isles because of multiple abandoned stock carts and boxes aside ... my biggest pet peeve is for the cashiers who literally throw my food in my cart... LITERALLY. It doesn't matter whether I am buying chips, meat or produce they just throw it all! And they look at me in my face while they throw my food. Really? I am amazed at the lack of respect people in this country have for food. Seriously! Just because you don't have to bag my food doesn't mean you have to throw it. Have some respect ... for the food, for people's patronage and our money. Do talk to your cashiers about manners, they...

The woman then asked a manager to pick some up for me he was doing something else so I said no problem I would pick it up at my local aldi's.he told me it was in the first row I told that's where I looked and didn't see it I will just pick up at my store.he then went and got brought it back and gave a smart remark . I told I didn't like him being a smart mouth. I am just going to pick it up at the other store. I'm never going to shop at elk Grove store again. The management is much friendier...
