On 11/12/21 while shopping at this location at about 10:50pm an employee name Puja approached me and my friend in a very very rude way stating “we are closing now” since we were about to proceed to checkout anyway (they close at 11pm) I asked Puja if they now closed at 10:52 instead of 11pm according to the hours posted at the door. Puja then proceeded to tell me “but we have to leave at 11 right?” in an extremely rude tone. To me her attitude was completely unnecessary & uncalled for so I asked her what her name was.. She then proceeded to grunt and walk away from me completely ignoring me. I then left the store, I called their phone number posted online and asked for the manager on duty. A lady answered and when I asked for the manager in charge she asked me what had happened so she could go get a manager (I kinda recognized Puja’s voice but since she stated at first she wasn’t the manager I just gave her the benefit of the doubt) . I proceeded to explain the whole story that had just taken place inside the store 2 minutes ago and she then proceeded to identify herself as the employee that had the disagreement with me & that she was also the manager (why she thought misrepresented herself as a regular cashier at first is beyond me to be honest).. I asked her why in her world kicking out a paying customer before closing (I was about to checkout anyway!) was a good idea? She told me she never kicked me out and that all Ross stores close 10 to 15 minutes early so all employees can leave at 11 o'clock. I have workers retail myself and employees are never able to leave right at the same moment the store closes. I shared that fact with her and she got very snarky with me telling me “ well I don’t know what other stores you have been to sir but this is how we do it at Ross”
Needless to say I will never step foot inside that place ever again nor any other Ross Store in my life. It takes a LOT for me to complain/write reviews unless some establishment's employees feel like they can step all over the customer without any repercussions. Then and only then is when I have to say something. I know that at the end of the day, the only real aspect big corporations care about is making money so I am glad to say Ross will never make a single profit dollar off of...
Read moreSubject: Incorrectly Rung Item and Poor Handling by Staff on 6/11/25 To Whom It May Concern, I’m writing to formally report an issue that occurred during my visit on June 11, 2025, at 4:52:23 PM (Transaction #9414, Associate #2548706). A retired employee working as a cashier failed to ring an item correctly — both in terms of item description and price. I have photographic evidence of the item and the timestamp of when I was purchasing it, which aligns with the transaction time. Later, when I attempted to return a few items, I was told that one of them wasn't on the receipt. I immediately asked for a camera review, and the manager on duty, Jackie( wearing glases, speaks spanish) said she would check. She returned around 10 minutes later and claimed that the item was not rung up on the camera footage. However, I then proceeded to list every item in my purchase — except for one that I know was incorrectly rung up at a $2 price difference — and Jackie could not identify what that incorrect item was. Instead of giving a clear answer, she simply said, "something you purchased,"— dah, obviously its is something i purchased!! It’s clear that the item was rung incorrectly, not stolen or missing. I find it unacceptable that neither the cashier nor the manager was able to resolve this or take accountability. Worse, Jackie seemed dismissive and unwilling to be transparent. I take this seriously and will be following up until the footage is properly reviewed and someone acknowledges the mistake. I expect a correct review of the security footage, and a direct response and apology for the confusion and...
Read moreThis Ross has great customer service!!!
After 2 Rosses didn't accept my return stating that my receipt didn't scan (even though it was perfectly readable), I came to this Ross and the store manager Dan was able to complete it without any problems. I was quite frustrated that other managers claimed "nothing could be done" when a perfectly fine receipt not scanning is not a fault of my own.
Dan was courteous, didn't question the receipt scanning and simply stated that he could override it, making it a pleasant experience after I had driven around looking for other Rosses. He was the only manager today who I felt actually followed the correct Ross policy of accepting returns with a receipt. I will definitely be returning to this Ross.
The associate I spoke to on the phone was also very kind and helpful.
This place actually wants to accomodate you as a customer.
I was quite thankful to Dan today for taking the extra time to listen and help me out- not just turn me away and blame the scanner for me not getting the refund I was...
