Walking into the store made me smile and gave me happy feelings.

I went with my daughter and her girlfriend in their quest for Pokémon cards! I was playing Pokémon go (yes, I’m 52 and still play 😁)

There were a group of people playing MTG in one area, a couple of people playing a Star Wars RPG and another group playing another RPG.

The woman behind the counter greeted us right away and asked us what we were looking for and helped my daughter look for the cards she needed. I sat and looked at Lorcana boxed set and played Pokémon.

As I played, she noticed and we chatted about that, along with a few other women there.

We were there at least an hour, and the staff was beyond helpful and nice. I definitely recommend anyone who wants to play a RPG with friends, are looking for Pokémon or MTG cards, or just want to talk about it, go...

Bought stuff 2nd hand from a reddit post they did. They sent wrong items, $400 extra. Stopped communicating, did this to like 8 others, conveniently "lost the password," took another month and a half to get a refund, had to send back, paid $40 to send it back because they would never send a label, but I couldn't get a refund for things I never received otherwise. I actually lost money buying from them by doing doing them a favor. Requested the label cost back through their paypal (which I paid through) and no surprise it seems they lost the password to that too.

The owner is awesome. Go here... breath of fresh air into the gaming community in Wausau. Lots of new faces. The Johnny Cee crowd has been dethroned finally. I would thoroughly enjoy playing here if I did not already play at Clairemont Comics and Heroes Welcome in the Chippewa Valley. Family safe.

Update: I recently came here again. Can't wait to come back to Wausau and hit Gaming Emporium and here for the summer. Love the location and the patrons here. This is the best place to play games in the area. See...
