Great store friendly and helpful staff.. Some of them can be minors or just over 18, and still answer all my questions! They train and educate their staff well!! I would highly recommend them. I would highly recommend them if your in the area and need just about any hardware item, they also make keys *a lot of places do that I know but they just do a great job.. I could easily compare them to a Home Depot or even better. They have a large variety of products like I said before I believe they even go as far as plumbing (easily) gutters they replace glass if you have a broken window from a house they'll replace the glass and properly seal it.. They all definitely know what they are doing!! Never had a bad experience and have been going there for years I have lived in Scituate for at least 18 years now 24 and have been going since I was about 10 or so.. *Mentioned my age to show just how long I have approved of their services!!!! Great store, Great employees, have even heard its a great place for employment from employees themselves!!! I WOULD AGAIN HIGHLY...

This store exists to prove the saying, " If they don't have it, you don't need it". By the way, if you still think you need it, Lori will order it for you. I feel fortunate to live close, and able to run there in a few minutes, but it's worth the drive from anywhere in RI. The help they offer is priceless. I live in a 130 year old house and Tom has helped me NOT walk out with the wrong plumbing fixture due to a thread that is not used any longer and better yet.....they had the correct one. When you are in the middle of a plumbing crises, that's the kind of help you need. Many times, Lori has offered solutions to fix a problem I've had over the years. Help, the large chains can't offer. A true gift...

This is one of those hardware stores that especially the Boomers and Gen-X will remember. Before Ace and Truevalue took over, there were places like this. If you are pressed for time, it's better to tell whomever is working at the counter what you're looking for. The aisles are narrow, there's stuff on every square inch, but they probably have what you need, or be able to help you figure out what you need if it's something you're trying to do, or fix, but don't quite know what you need. Yep, it's That kind of place. Thank you for all your help each and every time I come in....
