For the price it's great! I love the fact that there is a soup and salad bar, sometimes the soups are really good! The food is pretty basic but the boyfriend and I had dinner for just about $20 and that included dinner play soup and salad. Today I decided to try the specialty burger that had mash potatoes, bacon and cheddar. It was pretty good even though the bacon was the bacon bits from the salad bar. My favorite thing so far has to be the honey fried chicken. The plate is absolutely huge and the chicken was pretty good. For a local cheap dinner place this place is definitely worth it. I saw they do free dessert on Sunday with a $10 purchase but the waitress brought out the check so fast after dinner we didn't have time to ask.

Last meal. It's getting a complete overhaul I hear. Whelp for relic, it was good. Good food. Foods didn't feel fresh. Great, kind accommodating services, ok atmosphere. Great light. Pretty mural. Cannot wait to see it transformed. Food - Large portions. Very bland. Refills on coffee was nice. Kids plastic cups are always a good touch. Water should really be brought to the table at every meal. Water glasses were fun. The plastic extra cups were cheesy. Bathroom was rough. Looking forward to the remodel and upgrades.

I typically go for breakfast/brunch. On this occasion I had the Apple Carmel waffle special and paired that with an orange creamsicle mimosa. Both were delicious. 😋 In general I always love the service and food here. It's a great spot and I really need to try lunch or dinner.

First time I ordered a chicken marsala dinner from them it was bland and I tasted more butter and garlic sauce then wine sauce. So I called and spoke to the owner about the meal I received and he said Thank you for the feedback and that he would look into it with the cook that was on that night so he reimbursed us which I thought was nice so me and my wife gave them a second chance since they are right down the road from us. So I ordered the same thing again but with more marsala wine in it...it wasn't much different then the first time still bland and tasteless which was even more dissapointing then the last time! My wife ordered the scallops and they smelt and had a strong stench of Ammonia which then I new they were old scallops and it could of got us seriously sick or could of killed us..I was not happy and very angry because that's when I realized this place is a kitchen nightmare. Another thing that ticked me off was that they would'nt even give me a side salad with my meal because its only for eat in the restaraunt only not pick up? But they told me they could make me a $11 dollar cobb salad instead? I have never in my life been refused a side salad that is included with the meal on a pick up order? Obviously after this second attempt I come to realize the new owners are careless about the food quality and they are not looking out for the customer or looking over what the cook is sending out. We are not the type of people that like to leave bad reviews we would just never go back to eat there, but after the bad scallops we wanted people to be cautious of this place so no one gets sick. We are very disappointed since it was close to our home and us being new to the area would of been a great takeout or dine in choice. This Place seems dirty, very overpriced, and signs show its not a very clean establishment. Will not...

Note: This is for the new Merola's. We had been to the old Granite Farm twice and enjoyed it. We tried Merola's Granite Farm for breakfast this morning.

Service was slow at best. The server took 2 of our 3 party's drink orders and walked away. Took almost 5 minutes to get her attention to let her know. The server did not know they were out of what the third person ordered to drink, so it took even longer.

Our food took an inordinate amount of time to come. Part of my husband's breakfast was cold. My daughter's breakfast was the only breakfast that came out hot. We think they messed up her order and let ours sit while they re-made hers. Mine was warm, just not hot.

My food was good, but the potato cakes (fried mashed potatoes) were warm and bland. The baked beans were not bad - they were better than canned straight from the can but not homemade. My grilled corn muffin was good. The bacon was crisp. My Bailey's iced coffee could have used a dash of espresso to taste the coffee.

My daughter found her linguica to be overly fatty.

Other than my husband's cold home fries, he liked his food.

He was not happy with the wait to have his Keno ticket picked up - he lost a game due to it.

All of this was not due to lack of staff. There were plenty of servers, just not attentive ones.

We heard several conversations among them trying to figure out orders and miscalculated checks.

I wish them well, but unless we hear from people whose opinion we trust that it's improved, doubt we...

From the 7-year-old: “This pizza is delicious, it’s irresistible - this is the best restaurant!”

From the 10-year-old: “The cheese is ‘Spotless’!” (Meaning “very very very very very very very good”) Also the lemons are “the best in the world!”

We have been coming here since the older one was a toddler, and it is the perfect family restaurant. They always greet us with a smile and “sit anywhere” - we always go into the main dining room, away from the bar area, so as not to disturb the real people here. The kids can be kids, and I’ve never had a cross word from a server over the mess they make. We tip them very well, because the food is so inexpensive (and the mess) - the deserve way more than 20% on these bills! This time we had LIZ, one of our favorites, who knew us before we even got there - we called ahead for them to start our pizza before we got there as we were short on time. Personally, I love the little salad bar, and the younger one has called it the “three soups place” for years because of it - the soups are always made fresh each day, three different options, and the salad bar is small, but has everything you need. The place is just great, our go-to family meal out...
