Famous Pizza, has the best chicken and broccoli pizza. Ever since I tried it there after a employee recommended it, I could never find as good of a chicken and broccoli pizza anywhere else. The ingredients were fresh, chicken was juicy and not dryed up as most places I have tried and the broccoli is not rubbery or shredded up so much that you don't know what it was. One of my favorite medium thickness pizzas. I am definetly a New Haven pizza fan with the burnt crust like Sally's and Pepe's, but when I take a trip to Rhode Island I like Famous Pizza for different reasons just like when you go to Chicago for a deep dish, it's a different style but they are good in thier own ways. Key is the ingredients are fresh, and I didn't have any problems with the employees there, they were helpful. Also the Pepperoni is good there too, not those cheap thin slices but nice thick...
Read moreThe people behind Famous Pizza are the kind of people who make a community strong and supportive and a nice place to live. My toddler was carsick on the road near here and I pulled into Famous Pizza’s parking lot to clean him up. It was an awful situation all around - my son crying and not feeling well as I tried to clean him with a baby wipe. Even aside from the real help the supplies were, he made me feel like I wasn’t alone and that there are kind people around to help me and my son through life. Maybe that’s too deep or sappy for a yelp review, but this place deserves your business not only for the pizza but because of the genuinely good people behind it - the world is a better place with businesses...
Read moreThanks for having ZERO customer service. On my way home from work my boyfriend called in some pizza and a sandwich for pickup. I stopped in on my way home and told them his name. The guy at the register said "We take orders not names." Ok well I'm not sure what he ordered so I asked what do do. He goes "Call him and ask." As if I was the stupidest person on the planet. Ok, I called... Came back in and told him the order. Then he asked me more questions about it and I didn't know the answers. He said "Sorry I asked!" And proceeded to throw things about the kitchen and act mad about something. I was being as pleasant as I could. If you're going to have a bad attitude, I suggest you stay home because that's not how you keep customers. I won't be back and neither will...
