We stopped in at Scotts Valley to find this place my Wife (Margie) picked off our navigation. It was called DAWG'S, when found the address there was a doughnut shop closed for the day.Carl's Junior it is being that we were passing through to DeLaveaga golf course. As we were pulling into the drive thru right out in front of The Steel Bonnet was a modified Air Stream trailer and it was called "GOOD DOGS". The owner Phil Mansfield along with his girlfriend Mo , were some of the most friendly, courtious ,welcoming people I've met in along time.Phil was generous enough to give us two cold drinks on the house,Thank you aaaaà. Right away I felt like I have known Phil for ages . And I have not even got to the Hot Dogs yet. I had the Chili Dog with grilled onions , light mayo and cheese.My wife had hers custom onions, cheese, mustard and bacon both served on a brioche bread and with all beef franks. Well Phil and Mo have a really tasty recipe combination and know what they are creating. Well time for you to know and I want to share its the BEST HOT DOG I HAVE EVER EATEN, HANDS DOWN.So if ever in Scotts Valley...

At the intersection of 17, Scott's valley, good food, and love you will find Scotts valley junction. This west coast landmark is home to the locally known Scott's valley market, a great place to get meat for the BBQ, a hot fresh sandwich, and the best hot bar around. You can also find two doors, one of soon to be 6 maybe 7 starbucks in Scotts valley, a place to mail packages, a brewery, a drive through jack in the box, and ample parking any day of the week except Friday when two doors and steel bonnet fill up with dudes who drive Silverados. Get barked at by a dog in the back of a truck parked next to you.
