Hobby Lobby — Local services in Scottsbluff

For months I was only able to get in to Scottsbluff on Sundays, making shopping rounds that included the new "China Mart" (a.k.a.-- Dollar Tree). Several times I'd walked down to the close by Hobby Lobby seeing I've heard so many friends and acquaintances mention this store and how much they like shopping there... but as any Hobby Lobby devotee knows: They are never open on Sundays. Now I understand why after engaging an employee during a weekday when catching them open. Turns out that it's a Christian-Sunday day-of-rest type of thing.

Looking around for about half an hour I came away appreciating the fine number of craft supplies, decent crafts themselves as well, small furniture, framing, and more. Genuinely friendly, helpful employees, a bit lacking on the cash registers when you're ready to check out but as soon as you draw their attention then they're there. Nice place, am planning on...

I was treated rudely told that I couldnt read signs even though they worded things badly In A way that was deceiving it said 40% off the marked price well the marked price was yellow and they overcharged me and the cashier took my earings and put them I a bag but wouldn't give them to me I asked specifically was there anything else and she lied and I never got my earings I don't want to go to that store ever again because I was treated so badly I even called them up to give them a chance to make it right and give me the earings back and they say they went in to the bag well it wasnt my bag! I BELIEVE NANCY K IS A THIEF AND I NEVER WANT TO GO TO HOBBY LOBBY AGAIN! AND I SPENT OVER 100.$ IN THAT STORE! I HOPE YOU DONT LET THEM TREAT YOU THE WAY...

Store managers are very unprofessional and rude! I'm not sure why the store manager would follow my husband and I to the register, wait for us to completely check out before walking away from the frontend of the store, but act like she was doing other things once I noticed her behavior? I asked my husband if I was seeing what I was before questioning her behavior? My husband said he noticed the same, but didn't want to make an issue. My husband tried later to call and discuss this issue, but to no avail the manager that answered the call was completely out of character with this and hung up on my husband!! I will never spend my money in Hobby Lobby again! This saddens me because we have had some expensive frame work done...
