Kreiss Scottsdale location reached out after seeing my review and informed me they had no idea of my situation. I had mistakenly been working with the LA store with my issues. They were so shocked about the fabric and overly gracious with possible remedies! Kreiss is a 5 star company with compassion and ethics to prove their loyalty to the client.

I am sorry to leave a review, but feel I have to to let people know NOT to use the Melbourne Travertine fabric on any sofa. We received our beautiful sofa in December last year. It is not our primary sofa. I noticed fraying and after further inspection in the morning sunlight the sofa, after 4 months, looked like a 5 year old sofa. We dealt with Kreiss, who helped send back the fabric to the manufacturer who said it was normal wear for that fabric. I am shaving the sofa daily due to normal friction of our own bodies touching the fabric on the arms, cushions and back. I just want to say do not invest a huge amount of money on this fabric for its beauty in the sample. It does not wear well and you will be sad every day you walk by the sofa like I am. This place has been around forever and I have always loved their style. My family had Kreiss pieces in our Santa Monica house growing up so the store felt immediately familiar to me. I was greeted by a nice gentleman who asked me if I wanted flat or sparkling water. You know it’s a fancy spot when they ask that! They are pricey but not much more than RH and way nicer and worth it. I’m obsessed with their stone table that they told me was chiseled by hand. 5 stars all the way! I absolutely love Kreiss furniture. My family has owned Kreiss furniture for about 6 years now and everything still looks as good as new. It's definitely worth the money in the long run. In comparison, our other furniture pieces by Restoration Hardware that are also about 6 years old don't look good at all anymore... the quality difference is astonishing. We are currently working with Kreiss's design team to get new custom pieces to replace those ASAP.
