I first went to another Taxidermy store. I'm no expert in this type of things, but I could tell there was some sort of residue/discolouration on the skulls. This made me a little concerned since my research on these things seem to suggest any skulls that was not cleaned properly could result in funky smells in the future. I also asked about exporting the skulls and longhorns, since I was going to bring it to another country. The store owner was not able to assist me much in giving me such info. I decided to check out Jernigan's even though it was a bit of a drive away. Again, I am no expert in this area, but within the first 30 seconds of entering the store and checking out their product, I knew Jernigan's products were superior. The skulls were much cleaner, and the staff was able to provide me paperwork and information on exporting the pieces without skipping a beat. I am overall very pleased with Jernigan's and will definitely be purchasing...
