Kim's Cutz — Local services in Searcy

For the past seven- or so years I had been getting my hair cut in the U.K. by an ex-pat from Minnesota. The pandemic put paid to that, and I found myself in need of a stylist in Searcy or Little Rock. I walked into Kim's Cutz and submitted my hair and face to the lovely and talented Madison. My head has a double-crown and a pronounced cow lick. Madison nailed a killer cut the very first time. On my second visit she, again, nailed the cut, and trimmed my beard, perfectly. I had a date later that evening, and she made me feel that I was at my best. Fellas, run, don't walk, and have Madison tend to your styling needs. Perhaps, like myself, you'll get lucky, and have great conversations with the folks who wait with you in Kim's barbershop. It reminds me of the barbershops of my youth in Searcy. I have met several people with whom I have enjoyed conversations regarding many topics during my two visits. I intend to have many more with Madison. My youngest son has been going here for a while. Then he decided to grow his hair out. So, we haven’t been in a few years. Today, he decided he was going to get his hair cut. Of course, this is where we went. Got there. Walk-in. Waited in line. Another lady and two kids come in. Finally the 3 men ahead of us are done. My son stands up. One of the other kids gets in the chair before him. The lady literally ignores me and my son who is standing there. Just starts a conversation with the other lady. And I understand people have appointments. I even say, “do we need to wait.” No response. Not even a glance at us. Just would have taken 2 seconds to say, “hey, they have an appointment. I’ll get to you next.” But didn’t even have that common courtesy. Only reason I gave two stars is because the other ladies that are usually there, have always been great and done...

I was in searcy for a funeral kim was booked very busy but out the kindness of her heart helped me got me in for a cut so I would look my best I was unsure about getting my hear cut because I'm from saint Louis and im particular about my hair i grew up around the hair business my family owns 3 shops here in saintlouis I will tell you kim is very gifted and experienced and wish I lived closer to get my hair cut there permanently!
