Cute and cozy salon with a great atmosphere and amazing customer service. I’m usually hesitant to get professional cuts because I hadn’t been listened to in the past. However, Hayley has put those worries behind me—I will definitely be returning to her for future services.

Hayley was very attentive during our mini consult before starting with any services. She pulled up reference photos to help visualize the look I was going for. She treated me to a lovely scalp massage at the shampoo bowls, which were far more comfortable than any salon I’ve been too—I was ready to fall asleep because I was so relaxed.

During the cut, Hayley explained how my natural hair operates in terms of movement, oil production, etc. which was very insightful. I learned so much and she even gave me some advice on how to address my dry scalp issues. The cut itself looks amazing and the blowout was really the cherry on top. I left the salon feeling like a new person!

Incredibly poor customer service. My friend gets cuts here and recommended Katie, who was not taking new clients. They recommended Laura and scheduled me an appointment, but did not tell me it was going to be at the tangletown location instead of the West Seattle location, where Katie is located on saturdays. When I arrived at 9 am on a Saturday for my haircut in West Seattle, the manager Annie, said she could understand my frustration, but did not once apologize. Over the next two weeks, she could only offer 2 appointment spots on a weekend or after 4pm, and both were with different stylists than the ones I was hoping to work with. That was it. When I told her those options were extremely limited, she told me there was nothing else she could do and sent me out the door so she could get to the next customer. I really appreciate when managers acknowledge joint responsibility for a mistake and work to make accommodations, recognizing that the customer is also adjusting expectations. That was not...

I recently moved to the West Seattle area and tried out numerous stylists and salons prior to finding Beehive. Prior to Beehive, I was seldom satisfied with the haircuts that I would receive. I would chalk it up to the "two week" rule (i.e., you have to wait two weeks for the haircut to look good) and realized this "rule" was a fallacy once I went to Beehive.

I have now received multiple haircuts from Kelly at Beehive and continue to leave satisfied. She is always willing to work with my obscure requests and seems to enjoy the venture rather than becoming frustrated with the process. She has gained an excellent feel for my hair-type, style, etc. and it has become an effortless process for her.
