I got connected to health insurance program called Multicultural Health through this center which I am grateful for because I ended up getting a free insurance for my mom through Apple Health so shout out to the center for providing this. However, I think the service needs serious improvement in helping Habeshas establish themselves:
Having information on how Ethiopians can establish themselves and dedicated people who are well informed to provide career counseling. Information on free English class programs, detailed job opportunities and consultation etc for people in different location should be adequately available. Right now their information is limited, if any, to Rainer and a few more areas but what about cities like Lynwood, Shoreline, Redmond, Kirkland and so forth.
For interested people near Shoreline, there are free English and Computer courses in literacy source.
Service is dependent on one person, the receptionist so if you need career consultation who is left to inform the people especially new comers? It would be great if the website had enough content to guide people on how to apply for jobs and educate themselves and have online meetings like zoom to provide consultation.
