I had the chicken tacos. 3 of them. I wanted to get the lengua but im abstaining from beef and pork. Flavorful and tasty. And i like that the tortillas are, I believe made in-house and not supermarket bought. I am visiting from Austin, TX (generally I prefer blue collar food trucks/restos there) and I can sort of tell how traditional tacos should be like. This place is one of them.

It's affordable but not the largest of portions. I don't mind that as long as the food is good and fresh. Quality of quantity, right.

The service was good and let me know almost exactly how long my order would take to cook. I came for lunch and there were several kids from high school across the street, there. I stood in the line of people waiting for their orders and they helped point me to the line where I could make my order. It was clear they had love and respect for this place, too. All good signs....
