I ordered a custom wall bed and shelving setup from Resource and couldn’t have been more satisfied with the process and results. The showroom is well setup and gives you a good idea of the options you can work with. We got a ton of help from one of the design consultants (thanks Lisa!) in choosing the right setup for our space. She even performed a site visit to our home to help us select the best fit for the room, make sure that the bed could fit into my building’s very small elevator, and better visualize the end result before we actually placed the order.

Installation went very smoothly and it looks great up on the wall and with the bed down. The installation team was friendly, professional, and somehow left my apartment cleaner than when they showed up.

Be prepared for some significant wait time if you order a custom piece (we ordered in March and received the bed in October), but that’s to be expected with custom furniture. They also had some faster shipping options if you’re in need of it sooner but the selection is somewhat limited.

I waited over 5 years for this sofa/wall bed combo! I began planning after learning about Resource Furniture and visiting their Vancouver BC location (more than once). It was the opening of the Seattle showroom that finally put my plans into action. Lisa Johnsen was wonderful with details and our many questions. The Seattle showroom is a delight. Their many options really feeds your creative spirit. We've used this newly functional room for 3 months. It's now a guest room, our TV room, and my yoga studio. I worked with Julie on designing a custom workspace with standing desk, storage, and open shelving. Julie expertly guided us through the design process, including educating us about materials, and she was very patient as I asked for revisions to the design. I worked with Laura on arranging installation, and that went very smoothly as well. Our installers were very professional and worked efficiently, safely, and were respectful of my home.
