Absolutely terrible place to try to sell anything several times now myself my friends and my coworkers have taken beautiful brand new still with tags on items into the store and they absolutely didnât want any of it I have no idea what theyâre looking for but the one thing they did want was a purse that resells for 80 bucks used and they wanted to give me four bucks for that and I was like no thank you. So if youâre into really wasting your time And lugging your bags several blocks after going through the hell of trying to find a parking spot and then go ahead and give them a whirl. We have brought just like new items and such as J.Crewâ Patagonia J Jill, Anne Klein, Geuss, Vince Cavudo, Nautica, Northface, Nine West, Nike, Adidas,, Bebe, Talbots, American Eagle Abercrombie and on and on so I have no idea what they carry but they donât care anything that I would ever be caught dead in. I have no idea what they consider good brands but they certainly arenât any brands that I would ever wear and theyâre not any brands anyone on the east side whatever where they must be complete liberal hippie psycho I donât even know why I am just baffled be on belief. I literally took them four bags and three hanger bag of hanging up just like brand new brand-name clothes new new new Only worn two or three times at the most. And they didnât want any of them like I said I am shocked and baffled. It was a complete waste of time and energy and gas, and be on frustrating. It took me almost 2 hours to get out of Seattle with the traffic back to Kirkland after...
Read moreI tried to open the door and didnât realize you had to buzz in. The owner gave me a look and buzzed me in, then she made some comment. I was there to consign a couple vintage bags but she was helping another customer so I waited in line. I realized it was going to take a while so I went to sit on the couch. Then she asks me what I was there for and I said to consign. Her mood seemed to shift and she told me to wait just a moment. Once she was free to help me, she was nice and said that I looked familiar. I came to Sell Your Sole many years ago to consign some of my late grandmotherâs things, so thatâs why I came back. She then asked me what my ethnicity was because of my name. Interesting question. I tell her Iâm part Japanese. She says that she recently went to Japan and visited the secondhand shops there. Then she proceeds to tell me that she didnât really like the quality of stuff there. Not sure why she felt the need to complain to me about this. Then she finally looked at my bags. She seemed interested at first but lost interest when one of the bags didnât have any identification. She told me she doesnât authenticate and that she doesnât take overly vintage stuff, and immediately ended the consultation there. Her mood shifted and told me to go elsewhere. I understood her perspective but didnât appreciate the stuck up attitude. The vibe of her store doesnât even feel high end for whatever she thinks her concept is. I left feeling disappointed since I was a client of hers in the past. I indeed took my items elsewhere where they were...
Read moreThis shop is amazing! I first approached them when I needed to sell some of my designer purses that I really wasnât using. I had the most positive experience ever! I initially called on the phone and the owner was extremely helpful and informative and most of all kind. She encouraged me to drop by at my convenience and show her what I had. She was seriously so great! Someone who really makes you smile just by being around them. She walked me through all the steps on how to consign my items, she was not pushy, she had a lot of patience for my questions, and the entire exchange was very professional, but also fun. She was very honest with me about a Gucci purse that she knew would not sell, and I appreciated her candor. Also, she was very strict about making sure everything I was consigning was authentic. She did not accept any of my items until I showed her a receipt/proof of purchase for each one. That let me know that anything I purchased from her in the future, I could count on as 100% authentic. I started following the shop online, and I have to say that they have really excellent treasures! I love watching them unbox bags & try on clothes! Great ânewâ items all the time! I ended up buying an absolutely perfect purse and scarf. They take such great care of what they consign. Itâs a great business! Glad to have found them so...
